Tell me about it! The whole Voynov Situation pretty much set our D group and honestly our team back a few years. Just brutal. I know I'm gonna get grilled on this but lookin at our roster....just a hunch this is not a playoff team. Of course I've been wrong from time to time.

Since he also said "We will know more tomorrow", that tells me that either A) It's too swollen for analysis, or B) It's nothing major and is more of a bruise/pain issue.

Gaborik has gotten in plenty of tune-up as they made the finals. I'm not worried about him missing camp, and I doubt he misses more than a few games that actually count. It's still irritating that it happened in this tourney, but if he misses time the beginning of the year is the best case scenario.

Well that's dumb, but it seems to be a matter of when with him. 54, 69, and 41 GP over the last 3 years, and he's 34 going on 35.

I'm not even that bothered by it really. He's always getting hurt, and we're always wondering when he'll get hurt when he's not hurt. Expectations for the team are lower than they've been recently.

Of course it would happen though. The Kings sold their soul to win the Cup in 2014 the way they did, and it happened on Friday the 13th. Nothing has gone right since. I'm pretty sure there's a connection.

Gaborik was getting in game shape. The injury could have happened during preseason or if he was just playing pickup hockey.

I totally forgot that we won the Cup on Friday the 13th. No **** we've had some terrible karma since. That's unsettling.
