Habs definitely were not sitting back. They were trying to play an up and down game and get the puck out of the defensive zone quickly. The number of times they made really bad turnovers was pretty astounding. Even when passes did connect they were fumbled away by the receiver quite often. Julien said he was not going to change much at first since the players wouldn't have enough time to learn. A wrinkle here and a wrinkle there is all that will change at first. Anyone thinking otherwise doesn't know they are talking about. The end game, playoffs, is what Claude and Bergevin are interested in at this point. I doubt it will matter since the Habs don't have enough talent to win the Cup, regardless of system and regardless of Price.

First game back from the bye week. Hopefully the Bs don't look that ragged tomorrow night.

Habs had 20 shots .17 turnovers and 38% in the dot ..Habs have a brutal schedule left too.Lots of tough games on the road

38% at the dot will drive Claude crazy! Let's hope he's fitted for a straitjacket soon. Keep up the good work Les Toilette Seats!

Radulov wants longterm deal 5 to 6 years ..habs will have huge issues here at 6 million per I would guess . He is 31 now I believe and they are shouldering that Weber deal till he is 41..ouch.

Let's hope Ottawa gets the regulation win. Obviously easier to hold off the Leafs, and would like to see Sens win the division if the Bruins can't (which seems probable).

Devils letting Islanders back in it. Sens reg win seems unlikely as Nylander scores to take the lead. NYI on the PP about to tie it and take it to OT.

I still don't see what the big deal is . So the Leafs are 1 point ahead with 1 game in hand . If you can't overcome that with two months of hockey to go then you don't deserve to surpass them .

Who said anything about a big deal? I said it's easier to hold the Leafs off than catch up to the Sens. That's the opposite of saying it's a big deal.

Sorry , I didn't mean to single you out personally. It just seems many are throwing in the towel as far as surpassing the Leafs goes . 3-3.now

I haven't noticed much of that, especially recently. Their 3-5-2 record in their last 10 hopefully mitigates that somewhat.

Honestly, for those watching the Leafs and Sens game:

If the Bruins added at the deadline, does either of these teams or Montreal really scare you in a best of Seven?

They don't scare me per se, but they all play styles that counter us pretty well (well, we'll see about Habs under Clode). Would probably lose the POD battle by a significant margin even with playoff Rask on his game. Still feel we could beat any of them, of course.
