I dont see much of him but from everything I read I was expecting a bit more Matthews was definitely clear cut number 1 in this draft so far.

Laine is close to ppg and close to being the best 18 European scorer.

I've only watched the third, but I'm convinced I'm watching a different game than you. Could happen, but I'm seeing little to no threat coming from MTL.

It feels like a Claude Julien type game.

I wont be so quick to judge but Habs look wayyyyy less dangerous in the Ozone than they normally do. They kind of look like a mess which is understandable if theyre trying to implement a new system. Im not gonna sit here and say Claude's system has ruined the Habs look at them they look like we did" cos its not gonna happen in the first game. But doesnt look good so far. I can already see Daneault is gonna be Claude's binky
