You sound as if we are back in the late 90s/early 2000s. If you think the last few seasons sucked, you must not remember how bad it was 15 years ago.

Watching our team, with one of the best 5~ players in franchise history, get so close to winning the cup against a LAK team that sucks now, only to be crappy this season and the last.....to see the Pens win back to back cups? This decade has been a cruel joke to Rangers hockey so far. Not as painful as the early 2000s, maybe, (admittedly i started watching the NHL post-lockout) but unenjoyable in hindsight.

I hate NHL. Really. For 7 years I have been watching this league, only one team i cheered for in SC Finals won (LA in 2012 ). I could not care less about Pittsburgh winning before I became Rangers fan in 2015. Since I have started to hate them, they won 2 Cups.

I don't care about Hagelin getting a second Cup because he did jack squat this post-season even when he wasn't injured.

Looked like a really good season not that long ago. Rangers were surprisingly good, got to Atlantic division bracket. Chicago got embarassed in the 1st round, Bruins lost there as well. Flyers without postseason. It ended up being the same **** as last year.

I certainly think I would appreciate the next one more. But I don't get down in the dumps when we lose three in a row now...I mean there's no point in that.

I love it when we win, but won't lose sleep over it if we don't. Life is full of things more important now at age 32.

I'll be 23 in a couple months and I can confirm my life is not as great as Murray's haha
At least you're not a human strawberry.

When I was 23, I was in love, found out I was going to be a father, and moved to South Africa. Sounds all glorious, but it wasn't all sunshine and roses LOL
Does not sound glorious to me.

If I was 23 and someone told me: "Your gf's pregnant and you're moving to Africa.", I'd get a little stressed.

Well, if you put it like that, yeah... It sounds bad! But I was already planning on moving to South Africa (Which is a beautiful country, by the way). It's not as if she strong-armed me into giving up my life and moving into a shack in Soweto

When you think about it, what does it really mean if your favorite team wins the Cup? Does it pay all your bills or make your life better? What is it for? Bragging rights? **** the Penguins and **** this league.

I felt bad in 2014 and when we lost in OT vs Ottawa but you make a good point. My life is actually much better in many ways now than it was in 1994 when we won the cup. While it feels like I live and die with the Rangers in reality it is just entertainment and shouldn't effect my real life as much as it does sometimes.

This season felt like it dragged. I'm glad the offseason is here. Should be an interesting summer with the expansion draft and all the other moves involving Vegas.

Exactly. I would love Demers on this team though, but Yandle is definitely the better D-man compared to those 3

Florida, similar to, but a lesser extent than ANA, need just make one move. Demers or Pysyk for a forward who doesn't require protection, or a forward they value more than exposing Jussi Jokinen. Protect Yandle, Ekblad, Demers/Pysyk, lose Petrovic. Not a huge loss, all things considered.

If Girardi/Staal waives for the expansion draft alone, or we use a buy out, we could be trade partners for that scenario.

A deal around Petrovic for Hayes would make sense. They can definitely expose Jokinen if they have Hayes to replace him.

Murray played well, but it made me think of something. If Lundqvist played on Crosby's team, the King would be in a neck and neck race with Jean Béliveau for most cups as a player.

Goalie no matter smh omg just tank ftw pls.com
