Nitpicking here but does anyone else see how Sahiem looks unbalanced when he's skating backwards? Twice iv'e seen a Russian coming in on him and stopping up, and Sanhiem seems to stumble forward awkwardly. He's not bad defensively but I don't trust him defending on the rush right now.

Said this Monday night. His skating is unusually choppy. He said he just started skating a few weeks ago. He'll be alright. He's a tremendous skater.

He's been beat multiple times skating backwards in this tournament

Guy is a PP and Offensive specialist. Pretty pedestrian at playing defense.

Virtanen's had like 3 15 second shifts in a row...nice giving other guys a chance to show their stuff.

hows dermott been today?
only watched a bit of the game, he had a good hit and some nice smart plays
any other good plays or noticeable mess ups?
criticism is welcomed

Dermott and Fleury have been the best. Dermott has nice patience with the puck.

Roland Mckeown on the other hand:shakehead

Laughing at some of these 5 second shifts though, "you guys just go out for a skate and come right back."

:laugh::laugh:

Virtanen's and Strome's last shift was literally 7 seconds.

They went out won the faceoff, the puck was cleared and they changed after the whistle.

Haha wow these Russians are so dirt. They don't play the game right and this is another example of many. Dive, slash, try to start a fight then look at the ref when a Canadian gets a real fight with them. Just for example, Russian pushes Fleury after the whistle, Fleury pushes and then taps him on the glove and the Russian looks at the ref.

Look after the handshake, Canadians not doing anything and goes who's the hothead running around? The Russian. Nothing changes with the Russians, still the immature babies. And it's not like one person, it's the culture in Russian Hockey. It's sad how they build their players, Ovechkin comes to North America and changes the whole way he plays and acts.
