Bring on the Finns!

As long as we stay out of the box we will be fine. Team is just a machine right now.

Yeah I feel pretty confident, our defense doesn't give up pucks like Canada did today. If Willy returns it will seal the deal.

Yeah, now it's starting to get borderline ridiculous. Pull Nylander out of the tournament or not. Can he play anymore in this tournament or not? Did he have a concussion or not? It's a pretty easy decision if you have all the information, which some people have.

While I do think Finland is a slightly stronger team than Canada for semis I'm quite happy we don't have to play Canada because the choke would be real :P

Yeah, we have a terribly hard time beating the same team twice. Losses against Canada (2 finals), Finland (Malmö) and Russia (last year) comes to mind. Happy Finland won.

And Finland is always phobia when vs Sweden :naughty:

Now let's get the tabloid wars begin :sarcasm:

Unfortunately, no surprise it looked as bad as it was.

Timashov's skating is A LOT better than I thought it would be from what I'd heard you would think it would be below average but to me it definitely looks a bit above average.

A bit of a reputation thing. Some watch him play a bit and notice him always slowing down the tempo, and take that as him conforming to his skating issues. It's just how he plays, he's got decent enough skating when it comes to that. Terrific balance.
