I don't care for the spirit of the rule, you don't want to be out then slide so that you stay on the base. The base is your way to be safe, if you're going to be reckless and come off of it then you deserve to be out if they tag you.

If he doesn't want to get out, don't do that stupid pop-up move. There was no need there. Slide in, hold your hand/body on the bag, and ask the ump for time so you can get up and compose yourself.

Ned Yost is a turd.

Every time the Royals win a game I want to cry because it makes people think that it somehow validates Yost's completely dopey/backwards lines of thinking. They basically win in spite of him, not because of him.

Its not fox tho. The Canadian commercials are handeled by Sportsnet. Sportsnet then has to switch back to the fox feed.

Fox was late too. You can tell they are because the score bug doesn't pop up until a couple of seconds after we see the game resume and Joe Buck's comments start coincidentally right as we join the broadcast. It's not like we come back from commercial and he's already a word or two into his thought.
