Konecny seems to be dropping in the rankings but he pretty safe to go 10-20 range but potential to be a faller now.

ya i think people were expecting more from him earlier and expecting him to grow and put on some weight over the last 2 years

Yeah, that's what worries me most about him. 5'10'' is very small, and we already have Pageau at center. The next few months will probably go a long way in deciding exactly when he goes drat-wise. He is certainly intriguing though.

Marner is my current favorite for our potential 1st pick. It's doubtful he is available when we draft but he seems like the perfect fit for our organisation.

by comparison Marner is about the same size as Konecny and is lighting up the ohl. Hes still ranked as around a lower top ten pick. Even if konecny had dominated all year i dont think hed go much higher then 5th overall

karlsson was growing when he was that size. konecny doesnt seem to be. Just want to point that out. Not really talking about if we should draft konecny im more taling more in terms of where he is projected to go. Remember karlsson was a big riser in his draft. People though of him as a second round pick but then he rose. Sens traded up for him because Burke was going to draft him

He got hurt with a nasty headshot back around November (?). 67s were also supposed to have a better supporting cast for him but that has fallen through a bit.

Really like our 67s kids in the prospects game. Gotta love those southpaw goalies.

One thing I've noticed about McDavid in the WJC and tonight...tries to be a little too fancy, and often loses the puck. Trying too much to put on a show.

You'd think in this day and age, there would be some sort of supplement or something that would help boost the growth cycle a bit. I mean, we know any kind of growth on the pituitary (sp?) gland causes gigantism, so you'd think there would be a medical way to allow for some controlled growth.
