Didn't watch tonight, how in the heck did Trevor Murphy get 6 points (3G 3A) against us? It's rare to see a forward get that many points let alone a d-man, also looks like he was signed as an undrafted free agent last year.

Gazdic with a goal and an assist on the night, looked pretty good.
Klinkhammer looked good it's funny how the most meat and potatoes 4th line dump and chase grinder, suddenly has hands when given the extra time and space of the AHL.
Slepy with 2 goals, was pretty close to the hat-trick if he didn't narrowly whiff on one chance.
Oesterle with two own goals on Brossoit, one off the skate and the other off the stick both into the upper half of the net.
I really like Khaira and Pitlick as players hopefully both will get a cup of coffee in the NHL down the stretch.

Read on Twitter that they played him on LW that game. They should do that more often.

I wonder who they'd replace? Lander and Pakarinen or Korpikoski maybe? Korpi has not been very good of late.

Both Khaira and Pitlick looked really good the past week.

Good to hear. I feel Pitlick could be really good one day on a 3rd line with Kassian. Fast, hits, has a wicked shot. He reminds me a bit of Pakarinen.

I feel Pitlick generates more offence then Pakarinen. With Pakarinen, I feels the play dies on his stick way too many times. Just needs to round out his game.

How is Khaira on the dot? Could see him playing 4th line C for the big club after the trade deadline.

In the loss to the Admirals Bako looked like and ECHL team against an NHL team. We could not pass or do anything well. LB let in 3 goals on 5 shots. Eetu was just as bad. It was one of the WORST games not in terms of goals but over all on ice play.

Saturday we were up 4 to 0 by the middle of the second period and the team decided to play defense. they stopped shooting andf stopped being aggressive. as a result it was 4-3 with 4 to 5 minutes left in the game. They FINALLY dsecided to go back on offense to close out the game but it never should have gotten that far. This team needs to find the consistency and never slow down when you have a big lead.

Joey Legs with another two points. 20 points in 38 games, leads the team in +/- with +11 rating. 7th in rookie D scoring.

If Clendening continues to falter, I think the Oilers should give LaLeggia a chance to fill that role. Do you guys think he could play sheltered minutes and PP time?

Absolutely not. And sheltered by whom exactly?
I see two guys doing their jobs on defense. Gryba and Davidson.
I mean Gryba might be our most all round useful guy. As sad as that is.

That said I fully expect the desperate Oilers to call him up and give him the Petry, Schultz, Nurse, Klefbom etc treatment.
"Here kid. Welcome to the NHL, you'll be paired with Fayner tonight. Great guy. Really knows the game. He'll take you under his wing and show you the ropes. Good luck."

Condors win 4-2 against the Gulls. 3 wins in a row for the Condors. Klinkhammer with two goals, Hunt with a bomb on the first shift, and an empty netter by Ford. Bakersfield peppered San Diego with 44 shots and Laurikainen stopped 28 of 30. The team used an EBUG tonight because Nilsson and Brossoit were in transit down and up, respectively.

Do you know why Winquist, Moroz, and Platzer were all out the last few games?

Instead you want.
"hey kid you are playing great. The big team is out of play off contention and this is normally a great time to reward great play in the ahl with a cup of coffee to show you what you need to work on, but instead we aren't going to give you one cause you might struggle"
