I'm not so sure about that, I mean he got about 10 minutes last night of ice time, and once Stephan comes back it might be less. It'll be a last minute decision with Lazar and hopefully both are able to play. I'm sure teams know the value of this tournament and the experience it provides.
The only reason he got about 10 mins of play last night, is because Vigneault is taking his time in developing Duclair. As Vigneault said, it's a process. He doesn't play PK.... yet.... NYR gave up twice 10 mins penalties, hence, forget Duke at those moments. Besides that he has an average of 14 mins in 7 games. That's plenty for his development and just enough, not to burn him over the entire season....
And those 10 mins he played yesterday, let's just say, that he was a factor on the ice at every shift.
