After seeing the recent ticket prices on stub hub, I definitely should have waited it out. I paid face for section 418 ($249 per ticket) on 1/26 vs NJ through ticketmaster. NHL done sucked me in and got me.

I have 8 tix for sale for the isles game.

Section 236
Row 3 seats 1-4
Row 21 seats 7-10

Face is 119 (130 after fees). Listening to offers!

I have 4 tickets in section 202 row 12 fir the Islanders game for $100 each. They are the souvenir tickets. Let me know.

I have 2 tickets left for Rangers vs. Islanders at Yankee Stadium on 1-29
Tickets are in a great location - Section 224 row 16.

These are the actual hard printed tickets.

Face value was $299.00 per ticket, asking $210.00 per ticket.

May have already been discussed but anyone know of a solid spot to tailgate near the stadium?

Thanks..I think the last photo is around Main section 224.

I hope the last photo is in section 224. That looks like a nice vicew.
I have seats for both games in that section.
Going to the Devil game but trying to sell 2 for the Islanders game for $210 per ticket, row 16

email if interested in the Islander game [email protected]

Not really. Some of the cops that work the lots will have zero discretion and will hammer you if they see you with open containers or open flame near the stadium. You're better off just taking the train in and pre gaming at the bars.

I have 6 in sec 121B row 13 seats 1-6 for Rangers vs Devs at Yankee stadium

Will sell in multiples of 2 if needed...these are hard tickets

$200ea

there's lots down by the river whre you can tailgate and shouldnt be bothered if you're drinking out of a solo cup or BBQ'ing. i know plenty of people who do for yankee games there.

there are a bunch of bars in the area, granted not the nicest of places but that doesn't matter. for yankee games me and the boys usually get beers at the bodega and stray a block or two into the hood away from the 4 train where you can chill on the block and drink and smoke blunts in peace with the rest of the landscape.

^ That is a beautiful sight....for buyers of course. I'll definitely be going to the game now, but will wait it out longer till the drop even more. No doubt they'll continue to free fall with over 9k tickets left.

EDIT: Do you guys think the foul pole will be an obstruction if you're sitting in section 407A or 407B?

Does this give an validity to people saying NY is not a great hockey market since the game can't sell out (is the Devils game in jeopardy too)?

I think the NHL could do a better job promoting this. LA made headlines about a week ago with a volleyball court, cheap but it works. People take notice and talk about it. They had musical acts and some other attractions announced weeks ago. These things sell tickets. I'm not saying that it would sell out both of these games if NY was promoted in a similar way, but it could make the prospect of going more attractive for many who are on the fence about it.

No it doesn't. All it shows is that two outdoor games in a week with the prices they are charging is overkill. And the Devils game is already sold out.

Looking at the Accuweather forecast for the Islanders game the day before is supposed to be in the mid 40,s, the 29th will be in the 20,s with snow in the forecast and then the rest of the week in the mid 40,s. Snow would be awesome!
