This is last minute, but if anyone is looking to go solo, I got a ticket next to myself for free. Buddy came down with the flu late last night, and can't make it. I'm still going by myself, but if anyone would like to go, give me a PM in the next 30 minutes before I head out.

CLAIMED

none of the good seats are that cheap, it's the junk that's on fire sale

Yeah, bleachers and outfield 400s. Won't see a thing but you're there for the experience.

It surprises me that people eat the whole ticket price instead of making a few bucks. They should be $20 for bleachers and $50 for everything else right now.

Yeah but it's always like that. Bleachers will probably be $15 30min before game time but you won't see anything at all there.

Debating going but it's like 5 degrees out there.

You can sit upstairs between home and 1B for $20 now.

I am going to Wednesday's game and had a few questions.

1) What time do gates open?
2) Can I bring a backpack (how large), food/drink in?

I was going to come by train into NYC for Super Bowl Boulevard then go to the game.
How big a bag can I bring in or where can I store stuff (lockers anywhere)?

3) Will MetroNorth run trains out of the Yankee Stadium as they do on game nights or will I have to go to GCT for departure?

Gratz Rags fans on the win today. Marty killed the momentum we had by letting in the soft goal and when the 2nd period started I wasn't there to watch it cuz I knew what was coming. I instead went to the HF NJ Devils board prepared to get my frustrations out. I said I would go back to watching the game when the Devils made it 4-2 ... never happened LOL

Go Devils! ... but again gratz Rags

Yeah that's exactly what happened, it's like you're a ****ing genius. Congratulations you figured it all out, the Devils don't suck at all. Nothing to see here

Fun event today but tons of empty seats. There was an entire section to the left of me in 406 (407b or 408?) which was almost completely empty.

405 was the section with barely anyone in it. Was in 406 and had a great time, was probably 95% Rangers fans up there, which makes sense since I got those through the Rangers season ticket sale, they probably got the whole section. It was nice being in the last row just to stand the whole game, had a pretty good view for being in RF.

Since I didn't go to the WC in Philly, this was my first outdoor game, can't say enough how much fun it was, so awesome. That second period was just tremendous.

Hope everyone has fun when they go Wednesday.

Last minute decision to go today. I got a ticket in section 410, row 1 for $49 on StubHub at around 9:30. The line to pick up tix at the Terminal Market was a mess. It took almost an hour to get through. Fortunately the start of the game was delayed. Not a bad view at all -

Walked around a bit and took this one from the Batter's Eye View Club-

I went to this and the one in Philly. The atmosphere in Philly was better than this one IMO, I didn't see one empty seat there. The sightlines for this game though were much, much better than Philly. When the players said that the crowd felt much closer at Yankee Stadium than at Citizens Bank Park that is 100 percent accurate.

Just a little disappointed to see so many empty seats. How does that happen where there is an entire section empty? Was the NHL holding those seats in reserve and than just couldn't sell them once the secondary market bottomed out?

They kept saying the event sold out when it didn't. Looks like lots of people bought up tickets to resell but the market tanked. Not many wanted to pay anywhere close to face for these tickets - hence - stubhub prices today.

They really screwed up on pricing these games. There was no need to overcharge to that extent.

nothing wrong with the outfield upper deck seats..walked around in every section today and they had a decent view.

I was there today and I thought it was as packed as any Yankee game I've been to. The announced crowd was 50,105. It was a lot of fun. My seats were in 224 and the view was very good but overpriced as we all know.

For people who are going to the Wednesday game and picking up stubhub, it would really be in your interest to pick up on Monday or Tuesday at the stubhub office on 40th street & broadway. The line to pick up at the mall by Yankee Stadium was completely crazy.

Since the Devils game ended, over 1500 tickets for the Isles game on SH were sold (one third) and the get in price has gone up by $12. Right now it's about $61 with 3150 tickets left

I was in 224 row 16 and only part of the near corner of the face-off circle was blocked by the boards.
Other than that I thought the view was view was good
I had pretty much all Ranger fans around me.
What row were you in and how was the view?

I was in row 11 and you are right 224 was all rangers and 223 was mostly devils. I went with my kids and was really happy to see how civilized everyone was. Not much foul language. No fights. No drunks throwing up. A good time was had by all. Going back Wednesday with the guys. I imagine it will be a bit different. I also had the hospitality passes and as FYI, they are not the same as the legends food for Yankee game. Much less and not as fancy but it did have the open bar.
