debating either to drive in or take the train (NJ) any yankees fans have an idea about the parking situations and if there is any place to tailgate? :yo:

you can tailgate with a grill in the harlem river lots, probably cheaper than the lots closer to the stadium too.

we'll be in the lot next to the old yankee stadium drinking and bringing sandwiches. usually $35 to park for yankee games, just need to drink out of solo cups there. pumped for tomorrow!

and i would imagine traffic will not be bad, getting out of the lots can be a bit of a pain though

what kind of body cavity searches should we expect tomorrow? can we bring a small flask in?

With all the heavy clothing people will have on tomorrow, you could probably get away with a plastic flask. Metal ones will tip off the wands and you'll be busted.

I'm bringing a small flask bottle of Jim beam. To sneak in stuff go for a liquor that comes in those wide & thin bottles. I prefer all plastic and absolutely no metal caps or anything metal.

Just slip it in any pocket that fits.

No need to blow your savings on stadium drinks after selling a kidney to afford tickets.

Thanks. I've got one of these...sounds like that should work?

They were offered to Devils fans for $150. Wonder if that was a special deal or not? They were on Stubhub for $150 too when they were first listed.

I'm wondering if it's the same VIP access - it's got to be right? Global Events had them originally for $275:

These are the people that are actually running the VIP concessions. I wonder why they didn't offer this directly to Ranger STHs too

If you click on "let's go", the price is actually $155 for the islanders game

Also, on SH the description is different for tomorrow vs Wednesday. Tomorrow's VIP is through the entire game + an hour of post game reception whereas Wednesday, it says through the first intermission.

Yeah that price has been all over the place, the lowest I've seen is $145. But the original price was $275. I got mine for $153 on stubhub

I once tried a flask at Yankee Stadium years ago and was threatened with arrest..... I didn't feel like arguing or being arrested so I put the flask back in the car..... :(

clear liquor in a water bottle. water bottles are allowed at yankee stadium as long as bottles are sealed.

vodka to the brim.
