I'm sure most players would prefer not to play in sub freezing temperatures.. but yeah let's call Zucc names for speaking honestly.

You aren't a TOFFF guy unless you can comfortably walk around in a t shirt and shorts in sub 0 temperatures.

While also wrestling a polar bear.

Pros and cons to going to this game alone? I'd have to ride the LIRR alone. Ride the subway from Penn to the Bronx, alone. Sit and watch the game, alone.

I can't convince myself to do it

I travel to and attend concerts alone all the time, never a sports event though. Personally I'd try to focus on having a good time watching from home rather than travel via the LIRR and go alone. The trip is probably well over 2 hours. It's really up to you. if you are fine with going solo and think you'll have a good time then go for it! An event like this isn't coming back around any time soon.

Also if you do decide to go I can't stress enough how important it is to be prepared for the freezing cold. There's no use making the trip to feel like crap the whole time.

No shame in going to sporting events alone but then again, I'm used to doing a lot of things by myself. This will be my third hockey game this winter that I will be going to by myself. I'm moving down to Florida in a few weeks and I didn't want to miss this once in a lifetime opportunity!

debating either to drive in or take the train (NJ) any yankees fans have an idea about the parking situations and if there is any place to tailgate? :yo:

I would not bet on being able to tailgate. Parking should be just like for any Yankees game. Expensive and a pain to get out after the game!

So even the ticket prices for tomorrow have now crashed on stubhub. I think this is the last time. I ever but tickets for anything in advance. I wonder how low tickets for the Super Bowl will go by next Sunday.

$68 for bleachers for the Devils game and $55 for bleachers for the Islanders game.
