I also had the hospitality passes and as FYI, they are not the same as the legends food for Yankee game. Much less and not as fancy but it did have the open bar.

That's what I've been hearing, so no lobster & crab legs huh? Does this seem about right:

I'll be interested to see what we get for the wednesday VIP Hospitality. Apparently the club will close after the 1st intermission and there's no post-game party. It's going to be pretty damn cold at 9:00 pm, I would think that they would at least let us back in the upper legends level during the 2nd intermission even if the bar is closed and all the waiters have packed up and left

I took a little video from my vantage point :)

Section 127A, row 26 - last row of the section

I would switch from looking at the ice to the jumbotron consistently. I got used to it within the first minute. I couldn't see about a third of the first base side zone at all. Couldn't see the action close to the boards on the home plate side, and do wish I could have seen more of marty's failures on the third base side closest to me, much of the net is blocked by the boards.

That said I stayed in my seat all game and loved it. I would definitely recommend it. There are some terrible views. I'd much rather be in the same row in my section than, say, right behind the plate field level(like sections 120A-C), The view is pretty much blocked from the boards. I imagine people just see the players heads wizzing up & down. My section benefited a lot from being the closest to the ice.

No pasta station..no salmon..hangar steak instead of sirloin..sliders and hot dogs..fruits eggs bacons sausages..Lowe level of legend closed..just chips and crackers jack..no candy..ran out of paper cups at one point..for me, the value was a place to keep the kids warm..food and drinks were average..nothing like Yankee legends

That was one of the greatest sporting events I've ever been too. What an unbelievable experience.

Did they use metal detectors I was going to bring my flask I don't want to get it taken away. If its just a pat down I can hide it.

I had a medium sized bag with some blankets and hand warmers, when I went up the guy didn't even pat me down just asked what was in the bag and what was in my pockets, let me right in.

For people who are going to the Wednesday game and picking up stubhub, it would really be in your interest to pick up on Monday or Tuesday at the stubhub office on 40th street & broadway. The line to pick up at the mall by Yankee Stadium was completely crazy.

Since the Devils game ended, over 1500 tickets for the Isles game on SH were sold (one third) and the get in price has gone up by $12. Right now it's about $61 with 3150 tickets left

Do you expect it to continue this way or do you think they'll drop again? Don't have a problem with the prices now but would like to pay around the same for the upper 400s like they were at today, if possible. Guy infront of me paid $60 while I paid $229

Neither a metal detector or a pat down. Just a quick bag check is what I got.

No, but just in case they used detectors or wands I used a plastic flask. But you could have brought anything in really. The people next to us brought two zip lock baggies filled with vodka. lol

No pat down or metal detector, wear two more layers than you think you need, and you can't see the ice from most of the 100's. There were lots of empty seats in the 200's after intermission, and the views from up there were great!

Only other advice I would give to anyone going Wednesday (besides bringing a flask) would be to bring some foot warmers...my toes were a bit frosty this afternoon, but they probably wouldn't have been as cold if the game start wasn't delayed.

Just FYI, the Jim Beam club was open after all. However, it's open to the public, so the lines are long to get in and they wait until someone leaves before letting you in.

Good for warming up, no line bathroom, and short concession lines.

I would second this, although I also recommend the full foot warmers if you can find them:

I had hand warmers, toe warmers, foot warmers, and even backside warmers for my jeans. Made a big difference surviving the temps.

Good the hear security for these games is as lax as it is at Yankee games, whenever I go with my college buddies we bring backpacks full of beer in with no problem, they never touch your bag, or wand/pat you down.

I had a 10 minute wait at StubHub at 10:30 am. By 11 am the line kept growing and growing. People should have just gotten there earlier.... IMO......

Last minute decision to go today. I got a ticket in section 410, row 1 for $49 on StubHub at around 9:30. The line to pick up tix at the Terminal Market was a mess. It took almost an hour to get through. Fortunately the start of the game was delayed. Not a bad view at all -

That was my view, just a bit lower in sec. 210. Best seats in the house.

If I was in New York during the week, I would be really tempted to go to the second Stadium Series game. Absolutely amazing.

Yeah, bleachers and outfield 400s. Won't see a thing but you're there for the experience.

Yeah but it's always like that. Bleachers will probably be $15 30min before game time but you won't see anything at all there.

Debating going but it's like 5 degrees out there.
I was in the outfield 400s yesterday. Seats were great.

Fun event today but tons of empty seats. There was an entire section to the left of me in 406 (407b or 408?) which was almost completely empty.
405. I was in 406 for the first period and it was packed, moved to 407A to sit with my brother for the 2nd, then we moved to 409 for the 3rd to get away from the foul pole. Seemed like there were a few large blocks of seats that were empty. Thinking they might have been for groups that didn't show. Possibly one was for the bagpipe band and they just stayed downstairs or the kids that were playing that never came up, employees who didnt show. Who knows.

I know a hot topic on here was why the Rangers are the road team for both games. I also know the belief on here is because of the tax abatement. While it may be true, it may not have mattered. My brother-in-law's friend works for the NHL. Said to buy the home dates from the Rangers would have cost the NHL over $2MM more for each game. Said from the start it would have been home games for the Devils and Isles.
