Devils up 5-2 in the 3rd. Latta and Hayes with the Ranger goals. No stream.Anybody know anything more about the rookie game today? What time it's supposed to be happening? If there's a stream anywhere?

Lets say its the optimistic time frame. About 2 months. But then he needs to rehab, and get his fitness back to game shape. Then he needs to get the rust off. It's more like 3 months, maybe more until he is back to himself.
That's a long time to go without the #1 center.
Can Miller and Hayes handle the increase in responsibility, yet? Lombardi was being looked at as a 4th line winger, now he needs to potentially fill in as a 3rd line center.
And the worst thing that Stepan and the Rangers can do is rush him back into the lineup too early.
I believe some are downplaying this situation.
I know people think prospects are always the answer, but they are not. Moore moves into the top-9, Lindberg takes over 4C, Hayes gets more seasoning.
I'd be really, really, really uncomfortable with Hayes at C right now. I think he could slot in as a winger, but he needs more pro development if he's going to be effective at center.
Hello again guys.
A Nash-Brassard-Zuccarello first line looks even more plausible now. Question is, does Miller step into a top 6 role with players like Kreider and MSL, or is that left to someone else?
New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that the team has reassigned 20 players from its training camp roster.
Twelve of those players will report to Hartford’s training camp: Troy Donnay, Michael Kantor, Nickolas Latta, Paxton Leroux, Chris McCarthy, Richard Nejezchleb, Logan Nelson, Josh Nicholls, Sam Noreau, Mackenzie Skapski, Michael St. Croix, and Andrew Yogan.
Six players will report to their Junior teams: Ryan Graves, Brandon Halverson, Keegan Iverson, Ryan Mantha, Adam Tambellini, and Daniel Walcott.
Two players were released from their tryout agreements: Nathan Burns and Dallas Valentine.
I apologize if discussed earlier in thread but any McIlrath updates out of camp? Is there a reason he didn't play against Devils? Any info much appreciated.
He's in group B which is playing Friday nights game. Group A played Monday v. New Jersey.

Different group of skaters played that game, he's in group B which will be skating against Chicago.
Hopefully McIlrath gets both Philly games. The Filthys have been scrapping and getting chippy multiple times in each of their games played and I don't want to see any of our kids/skaters have to deal with that.
Me too. Especially with back to backs with Philthy coming up. Could use the added size against that goon squad they've dressed so far. More importantly, I wanted to see his improved game.I'm surprised Noreau didn't get a look in at least one preseason game.
They dressed Sortini and Rosehill against Toronto.

So wait, where are the results of the rookie game? Supposedly the Rangers won?
