Sutter has to give Weal a fair shot after all this. It would be bad for the organization if the kids' hard work did not pay dividends.
The question for me is....do they give Mersch a shot? The Kings need someone who'll park his butt in front of the goalie like Mersch does. And he's burying all his chances. Could he actually take Jordan Nolan's job? I'd love to see Weal and Mersch together in LA.
Yes!! You are watching exactly what is on the scoreboard, with the radio broadcast feed. Wait until Miller scores off the face off on the power play, but all you've seen for a minute or so is the kiss cam, and then on to the proclamation that it's the Terminix Power Play!!!Now, about that online feed quality:

I felt like I was watching a VHS tape of the game on an HD TV
Now that some of you are first timers in seeing Manchester play, I'm going to throw it back out there. Weal is an restricted free agent, and even though he's never played an NHL game, it wouldn't behoove me to see another NHL team give him an offer sheet!! Some have claimed that's preposterous!!! Ha! Thoughts?Agree on Weal. I feel he will either be with the Kings or they'd better get an outstanding return for him in a trade. I'd prefer he's in LA.
Mersch is gonna take another year. Love his tools and that he plays in the dirty area, but I don't see him up with the Kings next year unless we have some significant injuries.

Is that the official AHL feed, or was it just the Manchester feed I watched? I swear you could get better quality pointing a laptop cam at the ice and using Google hangout to broadcast.
Ordinarily, I just like to watch the game without being bothered trying to coach the players (goes for baseball as well) but I could not help but notice that Utica is very vulnerable to even the slightest bit of forechecking. I picked it up during warmups, when they were doing their 3-on-2's and their D had lots of trouble with the puck. During the game the Monarchs forced a few turnovers with minimal forechecking, so I'm surprised Stothers didn't jump on it.
If they can pressure Utica early and force some turnovers and actually capitalize on them, this will be a very short series.
BTW, I was 275' from the GWG, what were they reviewing? The net?
