LA has until June 1 to sign him. Do you think they do and would it be a good signing for LA (for those that have watched him play)?

I'm sure they will sign him, but I don't have any inside info.

I didn't like the Auger pick from the get go, guy is a (LESS) skilled version of Michael Schumacher.

Kings like those Big man Projects....Boyle/Schumacher/Auger/Westgarth.

Auger should have been a 7th round pick this year.....

Agreed, shouldn't have touched Auger especially in such a deep draft. Has been a no show for Guelph in the playoffs.

Speaking of Guelph; Leslie, Ebert and Auger will be playing in the Memorial Cup. The won their series in 5 games vs North Bay.

In the Q, Zykov wins game 5 for Baie Comeau with 5 pts ( 2g 3a +3). They are up 3-2.

I haven't seen much of Guelph, but usually Auger is playing a shut down role. As far as production is concerned, it may not be there, but if he's helping the team win, what's the problem?

He's working on his defensive zone awareness and play. Points are overrated.

Some people were groaning over his play at the World Juniors. If we hung our hats on WJC performances, then a statue of Brayden Schenn would be erected outside of Staples Center.

But that's not stopping people from flailing their arms over Zykov and Justin Auger.

He could; He certainly has the body and "look" of Michal Handzus, which if he developed into such a player, would be awesome. He has a long ways to go though.

I just hope he works on his shot. It's the most god awful thing I've ever seen.

I think he should get way more hype. I think I'm right in saying he was one of the youngest players taken in the draft and because of it is still only 18 at the end of his second year in juniors. He has a full year ahead of him in Juniors.

It's nice to see prospects get a chance at championships and a shot at the memorial cup. Playoff games aren't easy at any level.

Talk about heartbreak. The Drakkar were trailing 3-0 going into the third, and then they allow the game winning goal with less than a minute in the game.

So the Kings fans only have the Guelph Storm to root for in the memorial cup.
