Still find it amazing that Amadio was completely left off as a candidate for Team Canada at the WJC.

No kidding. Politics are loud I guess. Can't see any way in which he wasn't better all-around than some folks, at least as a candidate. I'm excited to see how he does with better support at a higher level, he seems to have the IQ to do anything...maybe a lil like Dowd in that regard but potentially better.

Jake Marchment also had a hat trick today.

Since Saturday, in a span of 6 games (2 each)...

Amadio has scored 7 goals.
Mistele has scored 6 goals.
Marchment has scored 3 goals.
 
Be great to see how Amadio, Watson , Marchment , Mistele and maybe Wagner go in the AHL next year. All having good seasons.
think there is room for all of them ? Maybe Wagner the year after as younger by a year or two. Adding them to Kempe, Zykov and Brodzinski and maybe one or two from Russia we could have a lot of exciting young talent on offence at the Reign next year.

Wagner has another year, he's still 18.

I'm not as sold on Watson as a King some are. Seeing how the small fowards just don't succeed playing "Sutter's system", I just see how he'd survive. Kids like Kozun, Azevedo, Vey, Loktionov, Moller and most recently Weal, none have found much success playing in LA, if they even made it.
He's a great junior player, maybe even a good AHL player, but IMO he'll play in Europe.

You may be right, but if there is contract space (several should be coming off the books this year) I think it would be good to sign him.

1) He is a good offensive player, and the Kings minor league system is in need of those.
2) There are no guarantees that 3-4 years from now when Watson may be ready, that Sutter is even still the King's coach. You just can't be sure in this league. Or he just may want to retire and be a rancher by then.
3) Even if he is just a good AHL player, it's helpful for the Kings in Ontario, who want to reinforce a winning culture at all levels.

I seriously think Zykov is gone within the next 12 days.

Yes, but he is not going to play for the Kings organization unless there is some kind of significant dialogue improvement between the two parties.
 
On that note, last I heard about Dominik Kubalik (I think from Gann maybe?) was that the org had no plans for him. Anything new there from anyone?

Nope. Talked to someone inside the Kings recently. Zero to no possibility. Shouldn't be considered in any sort of long term plans.

It's no different with what happened to Moller and Holloway, they elected to make more money playing in Europe, same case for Prokhorkin and Kubalik staying at home and earning more than they would on entry level contracts, playing in the AHL.
 
Amadio got his 40th last night.

Wagner: G, 2A. Not yet 19, could be one to have a big breakout year in 16-17.

Watson: G (31st, 70th point)
