Am I putting to much faith in NAK to think he may become a top 6 winger?

No, I think that's always been his upside. He's fast, smart, skilled and gritty, and plays both ends of the ice. If he can finish at the NHL level, he will be a top 6 winger for sure. We'll see. WJC next year for NAK and then who knows.

it just sucks he's missed lots of games to injury. really curious to see if he could keep it up over the long haul. not to mention a raw player like him needs to play a lot. even more reason not to rush him up to the big team next season.

he has what 20 more games? if he plays 38 games and is a ppg for the whole year then that is pretty freaking awesome and shows amazing improvement from the time he was drafted.

22 regular season games left and Rimouski should play close to 20 in the playoffs if they don't **** the bed. The playoffs would go a long way towards making up for the missed time with the broken jaw.

I'm curious to see whether you believe Manning will eventually be a regular on the Flyers blue-line?
He seems to be having a great year including being named to the Eastern Conf. All Stars.
Does he have NHL potential? If so, how long before he's a regular?

Not really. Maybe as a #7 but that may even be a stretch. He racks up points at the AHL level but isn't really anything to write home about down there defensively. He'd need to get stronger defensively if he wants to play at the next level because I don't think the offense will translate in the NHL since he's really not a good skater.

This year is probably his last shot to get a foot in the door with Samuel Morin & other prospects joining the pro ranks next year & beyond.

Stolarz seems to be struggling lately, his SV% was pretty good a month go, like .927, now its down to .914?

I was listening to WIP today on my way home & this bozo called up about Lauridsen. He was basically talking him up like he was some top prospect & a savior of the defense.

Fortunately Rob Ellis was one of the hosts, one of the few guys who talks hockey & has a decent understanding of it to pretty much stop the guy right in his tracks.

The guy made my day with his idiocy.

It's so awesome to see Sanheim with 43 points in 44 games. We all expected him to be PPG if he was the player we were hoping for, but to actually see it is something else.

I'm loving this feeling of having great defensive prospects. Morin's points just keep climbing too!

My biggest disappointment this year, other than the obvious suckage of the Flyers, is that I can't watch Gostisbehere play. It'd be amazing to see Sanheim, Morin, and Ghost all tearing it up at the same time.

Absolutely. I'm at every Phantoms game and it's much less exciting without seeing Ghost and Laughton tearing it up. It's fun to watch Hagg and Cousins, but they just don't stand out like Ghost can

Yep, I was watching every game in the beginning, but lately I've kind of lost interest since Hagg isn't really a flashy/exciting player and Ghost/Laughton are gone. I can't wait for him to get healthy again so I have a reason to watch Phantoms games, plus he's going to be a massive boost for that team in getting to the playoffs and hopefully making an impact when they're there.
