Hiller is the master of masks. So many great designs over the years. I like it when masks have a matted look, which Hiller seems to use a lot. Berras mask resembles the one that Hiller wore in Vancouver but it's still cool.

Difficult choice for Simpson. Selecting the biggest name (Sbisa), the most experienced (Bezina) or maybe just a very solid guy like Von Gunten (who played IHWC 2013 and als in Vancouver 2010)?

What are expectations in Swiss for this Olympics. Is team good enough to reach 1/4 finals ?

The quarters are the goal and it should be possible. And there everything is possible. 2010 they lost the quarter vs. the USA in the last 10 minutes.

BETS are open:

a 100 on BEZINA

I'like one more change (I know impossible!) SBISA for BLINDENBACHER

I do not like DIAZ situation right now.

Seems like Bodenmann will be fine, he should be able to practice again this week. Still nothing about Furrer.

Bodenmann will play tonight already. Hopefully nothing bad happens to anyone during the last two games before the break.

Josi and Diaz played together at the last IHWC and I'm quite sure they'll do it again. Streit with Weber is a good bet for the 2nd unit, but I'm quite sure Weber won't play regular shifts with Streit.

Maybe Simpson will rotate three even strength lines on the power play like last year. I guess it all depends if Weber is in the top 3 pairs.

Goran Bezina won't be a part of the preparatino camp so he very probably won't replace Furrer. I'd say it's either Sbisa or Von Gunten.

I would like to see Von Gunten play again at the Olympics. But he really seems out of shape, so i don't know who to pick as a replacement for Furrer.

Kind of hard to say since all of the players in question for a replacement are LHD.

My best guess at the replacement order:

1. Sbisa (depends on wheter he reaches his form until the Olympics)
2. Blum (IMO didn´t play as well as Geering this Season but has international experience)
3. Geering (physical style of play, could be paired with one of the offensive D)
4. Von Gunten (did not play at his usual level this season)

Sbisa didn't look that bad in the few games he played for the Ducks after his injury. Certainly better than Weber. Very physical, simplified his game. Plays fairly efficient.

Still don't like the thought of him on the big ice though.

I´m just gonna go ahead and assume that you din´t watch any Vancouver games lately...

Btw, fun fact: Vancouver fans rank Weber ahead of Diaz. Going to be interesting to see wheter it´s gonna be as it was in Montreal or just the opposite

I catch the occasional Canucks game. He was unlucky against the Jets and had a good game against the Blackhawks, I suppose.

In all the other games I saw he was underwhelming and no, 2 games won't change my opinion of him that has been built up over 2+ years.

So I'm in an Olympic hockey pool draft, and I'm looking to add a Swiss skater to my team as I already have Hiller. I think the Swiss will pull of some sort of upset personally, I would love to see them medal. Even had a Hiller Swiss t shirt custom made that I will be wearing during the tournament.

Every single Swiss skater is available in the draft, who should I take that would get me the most points?

Thanks in advance, and Hopp Suisse!

Niederreiter, Josi,:eek::eek::eek:i, Wick, Brunner and maybe Streit. These are my best guesses...

Luca :eek::eek::eek:i or Reto Suri, both are going to do well.

Great about your shirt and thanks for supporting us :yo:

I would target Josi and Wick in a pool

Nope, will be decided as late as possible.

In the training-sessions Von Gunten played with Blindenbacher, so it could be either him or Sbisa.
