Hopefully the Isles can exploit Biron's five-hole in the shootout. Also, how in the world was there no penalty on Grabner's breakaway? I know it wouldn't have really mattered but Staal sticked Grabner right in between the legs.

Rags got away with way too many men on the ice and the hooking on Grabner's breakaway in OT, won't be happy if they get the 2nd point from the gimmick.

LOL Grabner cannot score on a breakaway EVER!

If he did we'd lose about 80% of the time to the Isles lol. The only time I remember him ever scoring on a breakaway is during the Kovy Thanksgiving disaster where he got booed after saying Happy Thanksgiving on the jumbotron after giving away the winning goal to Grabner (who had like five breakaways in that game and happend to convert on 'that' one shorthanded) :p: Parise also had the tying goal disallowed in that game too.

Brad Richards saw barely anytime out there in the 3rd and OT. Sounds like another big free agent acquisition is melting down in the bright lights of Broadway.

Three in a row for the Caps, maybe Oates isn't going to be MacLeaned after all. Of course we had that one three win in four game stretch with Moose under MacLean lol.

I think we had a stretch under MacLean where they won a couple games in a row. Then it was back into the tank for a month until JL came to the rescue

They lost Dubinsky, Anisimov, Fedotenko, Prust, Rupp and Mitchell.

They added Nash, Halpern, Pyatt, Powe, Miller, and Kreider.

Not only did they swap out half of their forwards, but they're asking kids to take on a huge role, and downgraded the depth tremendously. Nash is great, but the team is totally different from last year.

And they didn't fix their biggest problem. They're still trying to win with four and a half defencemen.

Lather, rinse, and repeat. In a couple years Sather will spin his magic and he will be traded to some sucker team with a sucker GM for an absurdly good return, and the Rangers will throw the big money at some big name UFA again.
