Eberle is like a poor man's Gaborik, you guys can decide for yourself whether it's worth parlaying high end assets for that.

I hate small Euro players. That is why I dont want to resign MZA, and I want Fast traded

depends what assets IMO.. He scored 34 goals last season as a 22 year old. He knows how to do what hardly anyone on our team knows how to do, finish. The problem is the 6M cap hit so unless the cap goes up next year and either stays the same from that or goes up it will be hard to keep all our guys.

if we move Del Zotto (2.5) for Eberle (6M), we're basically getting Eberle (at least for next year) at a steal of a price for what he put up last season (34 goals, 76 points). Though it might be hard moving forward to keep him and our others we need to sign.

I think he is worth it, but who am I to decide?

I think revamping the bottom six needs to be done.. Dorsett is young gritty, tough, nasty.. everything you want as a fourth line winger. Sure he takes dumb penalties once in awhile but he plays with intensity and I think he should stay. Powe Pyatt Boyle Asham can go IMO

It's quite unfortunate the the anti-euro stigma still exists.

Small Euro player is leading league in playoff scoring.

Keep Boyle for the fourth line.

Unfortunately, like last season, the 3C spot on this Rangers team is most likely to be up for debate come October (unless the unthinkable happens, and Richards is given another shot under a new coach).

I want enough depth that Boyle and Dorsett are on the 4th line, where they both belong.

Cap is going down I believe after next season.

I don't think the answer is to add another one-dimensional, soft RWer to build around on offense. Eberle also struggled to produce this season when his shooting % attained an average rate. In his 34 goal season, he was a very sheltered player.

anyone know much about Damien Brunner? NHL.com has him listed as a center and he's an upcoming UFA.. He scored 26 pts this year in 44 games, and had 9 pts (5g, 4a) in the playoffs this year. Could he be an option at 3c?

Nash is soft

Any chance Staal is moved to Carolina for the 5th Overall pick + roster player + ryan murphy?

Boyle stays. He's a valuable asset for C in the bottom 6. IMO we got to keep Asham too. Other two can walk, bring up the youngn's

Quick, let's trade him for Orr before Toronto realizes they got fleeced.

If you read that post I have nothing wrong with Nash, he said Eberle was soft and we shouldnt build around him, all I said was Nash is soft too. I wouldnt mind Orr though..

Eberle benefited from sheltered zone starts and minutes and had a ridiculous shot percentage that he is not likely to replicate. I knew he would regress this season - it wasn't a "down" season, he just isn't as good as was shown last season. Conversely, it was fairly easy to predict Hall having a great season if fully healthy.
