Or wait as Anisimov's goal scoring prowess continues to increase on a year-to-year basis. I don't expect him to be a world-beater, but he's a pretty damn good player and the type that the pundits are wanting. Puck possession hockey player. He is a much better player than Kreider and was also the Rangers top prospect at one point.
For this board being so high on depth down the center, I was one of the very few who said last year to move Kreider instead of Anisimov because Nash was taking the place of Kreider, we MIGHT have been able to keep our 1st rounder, and anisimov would have been a perfect 3c.. Centers would have been Stepan-Anisimov-Brassard-Boyle with Nash taking the place of Kreider, but everyone said I was nuts because Kreider had so much upside.
