Between the missing teeth and this sure to be scar Ted's will be quite the picture.

Wonder how long he's expected to be out.

Probably not long.

He can just easily wear a cage or full visor for the time being. The only problem is if the plastic surgery or stitches need time to set in or something.

My NHL 13 2013-2014 New Jersey Devils. I started from the off-season so I could resign Poni and Parise. That lineup is pretty bad ass.

Filpulla-Skinner-Kovalchuk
Ponikarovski-Zajac-Radulov
Winnik-Henrique-Zubrus
Pouliot-Josefson/T. Smith-Bernier

Greene-Larsson
Tallinder-Regehr
Streit-Volchenkov

Brodeur

Imagine if Lou ****ing pulled that off....I traded Parise and a second for Skinner, a first, and a 4th because Parise's salary was ****ing 10 million dollars. I was like screw that and traded him for Skinner who I signed for 8 years at 5.5 million per.

The Devils and NHL 13 is a bad combination lol. They emphasize speed and we are big and slow.
Check out Nick Shultz, he's the best defensive defenseman IMO. His speed is like a 90. Go figure.

Flippula, Vermette, and Stalberg are also great forwards.

Enstrom is like my favorite defender. Along with Boyle.

In my dreams team for next year

Ryan Clowe-Travis Zajac-Ilya Kovalchuk
Patrik Elias-Adam Henrique-David Clarkson
Alexei Ponikarovsky-Nik Antropov-Dainius Zubrus
Ryan Carter-Stephen Gionta-Setve Bernier

Adam Larsson-Andy Greene
Bryce Salvador-Mark Fayne
Anton Volchenkov-Alexander Urbom
Re-sign Harrold or UFA as the 7th D

Marty Brodeur
Johan Hedberg

I doubt we have the cap space for all of it. But Ryan Clowe is a UFA if he tests FA may be worth a look, Resign Clarkson, Zubrus, and Elias.

Sign Poni between 1.5-2, Antropov for 2, Zubrus for 2.5.

But Not sure what to do with Josefson, Teddy, or Tally

Clarkson is the most unorthodox goal scorer I have ever seen (yeah I called him a goal scorer). He's got a very odd/ugly skating style, leans of his stick like a kid tripod style, and ugly stick handing (I just don't know how he controls the puck sometimes). He falls down constantly for apparently no reason but he's so hard to knock off the puck. He seems the luckiest guy out there cause the puck just finds him somehow it's just ridiculous. I thought it was just dumb luck but it's mostly from hard work and him going to the rough areas to score. He's gotten noticeably better after he shortened up his stick. His puck deflecting/redirecting skills are very underrated.

It's really hard to explain how he does it. When the guy scored a goal last season because Sykora literally bounced a shot off his ass that went in, what can you say? There's no explanation.

Ya, hockey players are tough, and the small ones are no exception. He'll be back soon.

What is even crazier is if he could figure out how to score an ENG he would be leading the race for the Rocket. He should of had at least two of them that I can remember.

If we're talking our NHL13 Devils team here's mine:

Ilya Kovalchuk-Travis Zajac-Bobby Butler
Patrik Elias-Adam Henrique-Viktor Stalberg
Jacob Josefson-Andrei Loktionov-David Clarkson
Steve Bernier-Zemgus Girgensons-Nikolai Zherdev

Adam Larsson-John Carlson
Mike Green-Andy Greene
Eric Gelinas-Brandon Burlon

Martin Brodeur
Johan Hedberg

I traded Zubrus/Fayne/1st/2nd to Buffalo for Girgensons and Grigorenko so Grigs will be in the lineup the following season. Zherdev was there to be signed as a free agent. Traded Zidlicky, Urbom, and two firsts for Green and Carlson. Then traded Salvador/Matteu/3rd for Stalberg.

I need to get a goalie in free agency because Hedberg and Marty are going to retire probably.

Ya, that is true. He's gotten incredibly lucky with the goalies in the net, and incredibly unlucky with them out of the net. What are the odds?

My one issue with this is that Clarkson, Clowe, Zubrus, Poni, and Antropov are pretty much all the same player. While we'll be really good cycling and controlling the puck, I'd like to see a bit more creativity in the Devils' lineup.

This. You need balance in your lineup and up and down your lines. You can modify your lines more, if you have the talent to do it.

You need size and grit, but you also need speed/skill/shooting to complement that.

Devils don't have enough of that speed, unfortunately.

They need to get some real speedy players on the team.
