my concern: larsson being on the AHL squad in todays scrimmage. i really dont want to see him ride the pine, would not be smart at all and could be detrimental IMO.

I think people are looking too much into Larsson being on the Albany squad. They probably had him there to level the D corps, as he's played with much of them for the season.

I think Larsson was put on the Albany squad so he would experience a game situation facing off against NHL regulars. Tallinder being on it possibly indicating he is the D man being shopped.

Noted that Tedenby was on the NHL "white" team..

LA, NJ, MIN, PHI, ANA, PHX, and Boston

He announced his retirement today which is the only reason I got it so fast.

If they start with 8, Tallinder and Volch'll probably be the ones rotating in and out imo. Fayne/Salvador/Greene/Zidlicky/Larsson will probably all play every day, doesn't make sense to have Larsson up here if he's not going to and Lou said he would be playing every day (granted, before the lockout). Harrold doesn't have to play.

I think they might showcase whoever they trade for a few games. I can't see us going with 8 D, and 13 F all season. When Henrique gets back too then who goes down? I think Darche will get a two way.
