Richardson was a plug. Penner shows ZERO consistency and technically isn't gone yet. Scuderi was always going to leave and you couldn't control that.

Let's let the day one smoke settle and see what Dean does in the following days.

Eh. Just means they were all wrong. I like tonellis posts but if iggy is not in Dallas, then he was wrong period.

Of course things change but for you to sit here and somehow say he wasn't wrong based on others being wrong is humorous.

Actually there's teams that are OVER the cap. They have all summer to figure their cap stuff out.

Just one team over the cap. Once Pronger goes on LTIR, they're not. We've known the cap looked like this since Voynov signed, so we should have been prepared for this. If we want to keep our guys, we are stuck with them and stuck with the team we have.

Yep I agree. And I still think something happens. I was just commenting on the thinking that if this is how everything stays until the start of the season that we are worse than we were a month ago. There's no denying that is case.

When NHL insiders, who break almost EVERY trade and signing to happen, agree that Iginla to the Stars was all but a foregone conclusion, I'll tend to agree with them. Again, things change. If Alfie came back, it was a foregone conclusion it was with the Sens. NO ONE thought it'd be with another team. Things change. Get it?

That quote really shows how dumb he is. He's basically saying he expected us to sign a big name free agent this year? With WHAT cap space? And what about or RFAs? Just don't sign them? Be like New Jersey and only dress 17 players? I really don't get why people continue to read him.

I personally love when tg adds stuff to the boards based on what hes hearing. I think it adds alot of interest to the board. If it wasn't for him or people like him we would be talking about such stuff as jeff shultz signing to death or the fact we no longer have suderi for the whole summer. Rumours add alot to the boards and i hope tg never stops if anything i hope he turns into our own rumour person.
 
We have 9 defenseman, can we just cut them for cap space? Don't see why we need 9. Any call up from Manchester would be better than Ellerby and Schultz. Just don't really see why the hell we have so many 7/8 defenseman as of now.

I don't get people and rumors. They're just that...rumors. How are you going to have any credibility if your talk shows no truth? It's annoying. People fawn to him and ask him what he knows. When most of the time he knows just as much as we do (nothing).

2 of the 9 aren't signed ATM, so their cap hits are $0, Ellerby and Schultz were just signed, so that's not happening. So who should be cut? Dewey, Slava, Greene, Mitchell or Regehr? Thought so.

Mitchell - Voynov
Greene - Muzzin

Martinez
Schultz

Ellerby in Manchester.

Someone will probably be traded.
