The Winnipeg Jets have acquired F Devin Setoguchi from the Minnesota Wild for a 2014 second-round draft pick.

**** me. Why weren't we on that?

Minnesota probably would have taken a d-man in return for Seto. His cap hit is fairly high though. Still, I would have pulled the trigger on that.

I'm sure DL has a plan, but Schultz perplexes me. He definitely has his sights fixed on something.

DL isn't the type of person who makes a trade unless he's forced to. Especially minor upgrades. I don't think he'd be making a trade or an upgrade really.

Glad Boston got Iginla, wouldn't have really wanted him. I still can't wrap my head around this Schultz thing. I'd take Morrow over Penner...

Morrow sucks. And is a RWer. **** no.

This'll end like Hossa. Now Pitt will go to cup finals. Then after that Iggy gets his cup somewhere.

Setoguchi blows. 2nd rounder is overpayment.

**** Schultz.

If the plan was to add another depth guy on the back end I would have rather chucked 700k toward Komisarek for one year. So do we look at Raymond as someone to bring in? Surely Brunner would not be an option.

Pretty big face plant today by the Kings. Lost a top defenseman, failed to swing a deal or upgrade in any area, and signed Jeff Schultz. Disappointing.

Hopefully Mitchell is healthy next year.

I think it's safe to say it's Toffoli time in LA. Dean is not bringing in any help this year for that 2nd line. Toffoli's job to lose.

**** Schultz.

Morrow can play both, but spent a lot of time as a left winger during his days in Dallas. He played opposite of Jere Lehtinen for a number of years who played the right side.

What how do you expect Toffoli to play second line with Carter at right wing.

Unless Carter switches wing which I think we can, then Toffoli can take rw

Brendan Morrow is listed as a LW in many sources online. I would take him over Penner. 6 goals in 15 games last year in Pittsburgh. Penner only scored 5 more....in 3 years as a King.

He is 34 but still a physical presence and a great leader. Would be perfect with Richards-Carter.

No thanks to Raymond, too small and not tough enough. Some of these deals really are ****ing ridiculous. With that log jam we have at D, I'm wondering if DL is trying to swing some kind of trade for a forward.

He'd be a good add for sure. But I wonder how much he'd ask. Probably too much.
