Cumberland is a joke man. I think Winslow is better than him.

Winslow is older. Cumberland is a solid 2nd TE. Not a starter, but is good in the vertical game. Good speed. Worth keeping and finding a young TE to groom or to take starting spot

2nd TE yes but not starting material, i agree

Only players on receiving corps worth keeping are Kelley and Cumberland. The rest can go. Hill is non existent. Holmes never should have been signed. Winslow is okay, but would like a young TE. Everybody else is replacable. Keep the defense. It is fine when rested. They have to be gassed at some point. Resign Landry. Need to find some weapons. Sign some free agents who can make a difference.

We gain 50-60 mill this offseason in cap space. I think you keep Kerley, Hill, and Nelson on this team. You have to add 2 WR's, whether it be a veteran WR and a rookie, or 2 rookies via the draft.

You have to add a promising TE. You have to add 2 good guards to solidify the pass blocking.

You also have to add a good RB.

Geno can be competent with time. He has no time, no weapons, no run game. No **** he's going to fail. I'm not saying he'll turn out to be a legend or even a winning quarterback but with more time he should be capable of running a competent offense. That's all we need. A competent offense, the defense should do the rest.

Watkins. Another WR. A RB. A TE. 2 guards. We need this for the offense. It's no longer a luxury. It's a need.

This is a very minor little thing to pick up on, but you gotta love seeing Smith keep his helmet on the entire time.

Yea don't sulk and keep an interested eye on what's going on on the field. I like his demeanor all season just not his output and decisions lol

I hold significant hope that he will develop once we get some semblance of an offense around him. I also obviously hold significant reservations about this idea too

The Giants are a bad football team. No O-line, an embarrassment of riches at WR, but no pass rush ability on a defensive scheme built on the pass rush. The coordinators need to go, they're like square pegs for round holes. Coughlin should follow.

Wilson may never play again. Andre Brown is not an every down back.

Jon, you do know I am a Giants fan, right?

The defense and O line coupled with Manning making really boneheaded plays with the ball this season have made this almost unbearable football to watch.

As I say that, tie game

Amazing this game is tied.

We need a completely new defensive scheme. It's amazing what an average ILB in Beason means to these guys on D. Let's get a real ILB for once maybe :dunno:

Any 3-4 defensive coordinators out there looking for work?

Well, Rex Ryan may be available this offseason...

Don't want that side-show clown anywhere near the Giants.

This conversation is all for naught though, as we all know Coughlin, Gilbride, Fewell, and Quinn are going nowhere.

Hell, when Coughlin retires they might just make Fewell or Gilbried HC

I'd kill to have Rex as our DC. He'd have us near the top of the league if we grabbed a couple of average guys to push out the trash. JPP, Linval and Moore as the foundation of the D-line with Prince and Rolle in the secondary gives us a solid core. Gotta keep Beason.

No matter what though we gotta clear house. I wouldn't mind some new, younger coordinators either.
