The word on the street is that the Jets think Kerley may have suffered an elbow subluxation. I don't know what kind of timetable that would be.

Jeez. On the news cast they were saying it was his wrist.

Just read up on them. Apparently if its severe the person is at risk of losing the arm. I guess that's worst case scenario with improper care.

Hopefully whatever it is isn't worst case scenario.

So either a couple of weeks or they cut off his arm? Quite a bit of middle ground in there, lol.

Haha wasn't saying one or the other. Just saying that's worst case. I didn't realize that injury was so significant.

What a win by the Jets. Could not be happier going into the bye week. Didn't think we'd even sniff the playoffs going into the season but we have a legitimate shot.

We really do. I can't imagine what this team will look like next year.

Projected 50-60 mill to spend. Milliner really needs to fill some big shoes. He took a step forward today, he can't regress. He needs to understand he's the future - i.e bulk up, study, learn how to jam at the line and not just try and rely on your speed. He's been doing that too much.

I like Walls as our 2nd CB. With the front 7 we have/will have in the future that allows us some leeway with how good our secondary is. Rex really raves on Dee. RAVES. The first 2 picks were his this year. He hasn't led us astray with really any pick, unless you consider Wilson as one of his, in which case his worst pick is still serviceable in the NFL.

Reason why I have Walls slotted as the 2 CB and Milliner as the 1 next year is because 1) Cromartie is losing a step. He's starting to be beaten with more often frequency. and 2) trading/cutting him will open up about 10 mill in cap space. If we can sling him to a team in need of a CB for like a 3rd or 4th then by all means do that, but I don't think with his contract any team will trade draft picks for him so he'll likely be a cut.

Santonio will also be cut next year. Over the past 2 years we've played without him. This year Morningwheg has turned WR's and TE's that would be on most other team's practice squads into serviceable players. Salas, Suddfeld, Nelson, Cumberland, Winslow... Hill is being pretty well guarded and Santonio is still not playing. That saves an additional 10 mill likely.

Not to mention the real cat in the bag... Sanchez - freeing up another 8 million. Other random penalties we've accrued will help free up anywhere from 5-10 million more in the cap. Pretty sure we had a steep penalty cause we cut Bart this year.

In addition, the team could look for more ways to free up space, simply by restructuring some players' contracts.

With the new cap space, look for Idzik to get us a speed back. Powell is decent but we need some raw speed up there that will really help Ivory shine as the change of pace back. When both Powell and Ivory can't get it done it really puts a lot of pressure on Geno. Need another rb to help out there. Look for a bonafide WR to be either drafted or signed. Someone who can run routes, be dependable in catching the ball, make big time plays. Maybe even another WR who's not as expensive or good but that will help Hill and Kerley shift into positions more suited for them.

We have many picks this year. Look for an OLB in the first rd, as Rex always gets the man he wants with the first rd pick. Then a slew of TE, RB, and WR picks in the coming rounds. We'll probably end the draft with drafting more linemen or some more safeties like Allen and Jarrett that we can develop as we go.

FA signings - look for us to sign the free safety out of Cleveland. He's a hard hitter, really fits Rex's mold. Vet WR's. Maybe some line depth to help out in the trenches.

I think next year will be a big big year for us.

TJ Ward is the safety out of Cleveland.

I think Jarius Byrd would be the better investment. He'd be the free safety we've sorely lacked for a long time. He'll probably get 8-9 mil/yr though, so who knows if Idzik will pony up that much for him. He might want to find that Earl Thomas type safety through the draft.

Honestly, if Revis was interested in coming back (assuming Tampa cuts him that is), I would sign him in a heartbeat lol (as long as he was actually reasonable with his demands). Revis is wasted in that zone D down there in Tampa, put him back in Rex's man to man D with that crazy D-line we now have, boy oh boy lol.

But yeah, 11-12 picks in next year's draft and like 50 mil in cap space, the future is indeed looking bright.

I dropped 128 today in fantasy and was up 60 going into tonight. He has Andre Johnson and Arian Foster as well as Lacy, Black Unicorn and Gould. I'm only up 21 now. I'm ****ed.

I'm up to 170+ points. I have Chris Johnson, Andre Johnson, and Ridley (with Amendola on the bench).

I have Ridley CJ, Chiefs D, AJ Green with Kaep Davis and Megatron all on a bye, no one else in our league is even close to me except for my opponent. Maybe tomorrow's like a 3-0 Packers win with very little fantasy points.

The Vikings and especially the Chargers can piss off. 1st and goal on the one yard line in the last 30 seconds of the game and cannot get a touchdown? Absolutely brutal.

I was up 30 something going into last night, woke up to see Hilton ruined my ****. I have Marshall and Crosby tonight while he has McCown and a 3-point lead.

Get yer friggin' hands off of my safety.

In all seriousness, if you want Ward, you're going to have to overpay - it's not like the Browns can't afford to pay him and they are also a team on the upswing.

My opponent dropped Woodhead for Zac Stacy 4 hours before the Sunday games started, Stacy scored 29.80. I'm suspecting he owns a time machine. Oh, and he has Romo, Peterson, and Graham as well. :help:

Morris, Garcon, and Gronkowski ensured that I still have a shot though, I'm down 31 points with Lacy and Marshall left to play while my opponent has no players left.

Yeah I have Stacy. He was fantastic for me yesterday! I did well, in that I picked up Stacy and Keenan Allen on waivers in the past three weeks. They gave me a combined 57 points yesterday. I grabbed Allen when I finally went ahead, bit the bullet, and cut Marques Colston.

My lone misstep in setting my lineup was putting Kendall Wright in one of my flex spots rather than Chris Ivory. Wright did okay, giving me 7.5 points, but Ivory had 20. Who saw that coming from Ivory though? I waived Willis McGahee and picked up Ivory after his big game against the Pats, only to see him get six touches in the blowout against Cincinnati (to Bilal Powell's 10). Feels like I can't really trust him at this point, since he's not the clear-cut feature back.

All will be forgiven if I somehow pull it out tonight with Marshall and Crosby, haha.

It's harder to throw offensive linemen into the tub :sarcasm:

In light of the bullying accusations with the Dolphins, rookie Justin Pugh says his treatment with the Giants ...
... has been smooth. "It’s just fun stuff,'' said Pugh, the first-round pick. "You know you’re gonna come in, you know you’re gonna buy a dinner or bring a helmet in off the practice field, bring in the bags, it’s nothing where guys are constantly just attacking one person. Not anything like that.'' #nyg

If even a fraction of the **** he's accused of proves to be true, then...I don't even know. I hate guys like him, truly hate them. Those *******s that derive some perverse pleasure from making other people miserable. Guys like him find themselves in the right circumstances and they become genocidal dictators, and I'm not even kidding.

Wait. Isn't this the guy who came out a while back about his anger issues and claimed anger management and meditation had somehow made him a better person and he had now changed?

I guess he's still a jerk.

I love how in the comments section of the article Jonathan posted some idiot decided to get political and another idiot is trying to start a "rumor" of Incognito going to the Jets. People are just douches.

Deadspin normally has some great comments. I suspect these guys came from ESPN. :sarcasm:

Deadspin's comments section is great. It's not as good as it was when you had to audition to become a commenter, but it's still good.

The Incognito thing is so unsavory. I always liked to believe that kind of nonsense ended after high school or college, but I guess I'm just naive.
