Dude! Same here! I graduated in '12, so my freshman year ('08) was the glory days of Naaman+Willy+Starks.

After the hail mary against Temple that season, when everyone stormed the field I high-fived Naaman, and slapped Drew Willy on the shoulder pads a bunch of times. One of my highlights from UB

I had the same thoughts on Naaman for the exact same reasons. I thought for sure he would make a great #4 for a team. Such consistent ability. And this year with the Bills having their QB troubles, I was hoping they'd give Willy a shot... but Willy seriously suffers from Pennington arm, so I'm not surprised that he couldn't cut it at the NFL level.

There are a few other UB guys 'round these parts. I know for certain that Guess What is a current UB student.

I was at that game. I actually traveled to Toronto to go to their bowl game that year.

Willy was the weak link there. Like you said, arm strength was always a problem for him.

Great to hear about some other young players, that program needs to grow.

Go Bulls!

Is no one commenting because they thought the Jets would get smacked around like they were against the Bengals?

Because it's the Jets who are doing the smacking.

Chiefs somehow pulled a win out of their *****. Still undefeated headed into the bye. Feles good man, but there are problems that need to be addressed.

"One of the worst teams in the league" just improved to 5-4 with a win over the Saints. How about that.

Wilkerson, Richardson, and Harrison: The Sons of Anarchy.

It's going to be fun watching Gino and the D-Line grow together. The Jets just need to give Gino some WR help and they will be able to go toe to toe with anyone in the next couple of years.

How the Jets scored any points while missing Holmes, Kerley, Cumberland and Winslow is astonishing. Even with those guys, their skill players as a whole are mediocre. Without them? Horrendous. And yet they won.

Can the bye week count as a loss week to get off this win one lose;)?

Awesome performance by the defense, even Milliner was solid. Coples best game by far, Nick Folk still making kick after kick, need to give Geno some weapons in the draft and free agency next year, even though the bubble screen was effective. Hopefully they keep developing Sudfeld, overall 5-4 with Winslow and Holmes back in two weeks will be a huge boost no matter how much we hate Holmes he is a threat out there.

Go Jets! :yo:

Mo wilkerson is a beast. Coples finally showed up. We basically played with scrubs on the offense and still put up 26 points lol

He was a beast in preseason until his ankle injury. He was working back to that level from surgery. Needed some time. Finished strong last year too. Wilkerson has the same tendency. I can't imagine what they'll look like to end off this year.

Milliner looked decent today. Only got burned on one throw (directly after he had just made a great play to break up a pass). Aside from that he saved a TD on Cro's blown coverage. He needs to learn how to jam the receiver off of the snap. He's starting to get better reads. Last week was one of his worst but this week was one of his best. Both Geno and Dee need to learn consistency. I credit Rex for letting them learn through their growing pains even if the team takes a step back occasionally. They're supposed to be the future - hands on learning is the best.

That line was unreal today. NO's o-line didn't know what to do with themselves. This team shows up for big games. Cincy game seemed like they completely overlooked the Bengals. Tenn game looked like they completely overlooked that week entirely. Same with the Steelers.

Rex needs to do a better job of harnessing that intensity from his players no matter the opponent. Need to go 5-2 the rest of the season. Only hard looking opponent of the 7 looks to be the Panthers. Miami will give us trouble but their D isn't as good as the Saints and we handled them fine.

5-2 is doable. I want to see this front line do some damage in the playoffs.

Completely agree. Rex has taken his fair share of criticism over the years but he really deserves a lot of credit for the job he has done this season. The offense doesn't have much to work with but they keep on finding a way to win games.

Right as we're going to get Holmes back, we likely lose Kerley for the season.

Typical Jets luck.

PAGING STEPHEN HILL. WE COULD REALLY USE YOUR 6'4 FRAME WITH 4.3 SPEED.

For the season?! If it was a broken wrist it would be likely 4-6 weeks. 8 weeks left in the regular season. With surgery the recovery would likely be closer to 6-8 weeks (if needed). Thinking ahead of ourselves and maybe bigger than we are destined for but if we made the playoffs, Kerley would likely be ready to go by then, if not several weeks before that.

The word on the street is that the Jets think Kerley may have suffered an elbow subluxation. I don't know what kind of timetable that would be.

Definitely thought he dislocated or hyperextended his elbow when I saw the replay. Ouch. 1-4 weeks if he doesn't need surgery. Hopefully it doesn't come to that.
