Another season where we ponder what should be of importance for this team come the draft: LBs, D-line, O-line?

Linebackers have been a disaster for over a decade. Still, especially in an NFL draft, you always go BPA, whoever that may be.

When our d-line has been as awful as it's been, I can't fathom how you could complain about boosting the d-line.

But once a running back gets past the D line, we have problems as well. How many times have you seen a team run well to the outside on us? That is because we don't have a LB that can go sideline to sideline and make tackles. Knowshown Moreno ran outside for two TDs last week. Also- we get beat a lot by TE's (Jason Witten owns us) and we get beat a lot by underneath routes across the middle and in the flats. That screams linebacker.

Sacrilegious, but perhaps you trade Eli for a first (he'd get us one) and blow it all the **** up. We need a completely new offensive line other than our tackles.

I don't know, I think at 32, especially given the Manning pedigree of longevity, we have time to do a rebuild with Eli.

But if BPA is far and away a QB, something might have to be swung, whether it's trading Eli or trading the new guy.

I'd feel better getting these picks whilst having new coaches on the team because I have a feeling if we somehow managed 15-20 picks with Coughlin at the helm, we'd maybe see..2 or 3 new guys suit up and play.

Unquestionably. Eli has the durability to play another ten years.

And Gilbride.

Keep Coughlin, and let him pick the new OC and DC.

Also rebuild the O-Line and Linebackers.

Trade Tuck for whatever we can get for him.

Shut down JPP for the year if need be, or at least the next couple of weeks.

coughlin's coordinator hirings have been horrendous. i dont want him having the pick of the new ones. he should be gone after this year along with his coaching staff if this play continues.

I don't even know what to say as a Jets fan, the amount of penalties is insane. With Sanchez I almost forgot what a deep ball looked like, Geno was slinging it deep, some mistakes obviously, but nice to see he wasn't afraid to take the chance and throw the deep ball.

Props to Holmes and Powell, great games by them, and the dline with 8 sacks was great, but saying the penalties need to be cleaned up would be an understatement.

2-1 after 3 weeks, sure why not.

The best thing about Geno is that he doesn't dwell on a mistake. When Sanchez ****ed up, it always seemed like that was it--he was going to fall apart. Geno makes a mistake and then comes back out and puts it behind him. He's much more mentally strong than Mark. Hopefully the Jets don't find away to ruin him. Get the kid a couple weapons in the offseason and he'll be good to go.

The penalties...wow. I've never seen that at any level of football. Unreal.

Oh, I'd also like to know if the national media still considers the Jets one of the three or so worst teams in the NFL. That was a joke to begin with, just piling on a team that's easy to make fun of.
