OT: 2013-2014 NFL Thread II? (Giants suck; Jets play Monday)

Tuck is finished. JPP is no where near 100%. If the Giants are out of it by week 6, I'd shut him down for the year. The Giants' bread and butter on D, the pass rush, has been completely ineffective.
 
Will Beatty and JPP suddenly being useless after being elite players at their position is all on Reese.

inb4 complaining about linebackers when every other position Reese drafted is also an area of major need, but this coaching staff won't play anybody without a years worth of experience.
 
We've had two 1st overall picks play for our franchise. One was Lawrence Taylor and the other was Eli Manning. So I actually love where this season is going right now.
 
The guys at the Giants forums are a joke-and-a-half. Arguing which side is better: offense or defense. Yes, which is better: the piece of **** vs. the pile of puke?
 
It's one thing to take 40 from Peyton. Even with bad defensive playcalling, whatever.

It's a different story from the Panthers.

Also Aaron Ross is still godawful and resigning him was a mistake. There had to be somebody who could actually play in the secondary available.

Keep Coughlin, and let him pick the new OC and DC.

Also rebuild the O-Line and Linebackers.

Trade Tuck for whatever we can get for him.

Shut down JPP for the year if need be, or at least the next couple of weeks.

I would be all for letting TC finish out the season and then retiring. Same with Tuck.

But either the playcalling on O and D really needs to change or we need to finally go in a new direction.

Who needs LBs? They aren't important. It's all about getting to the QB. First 4 picks should be on DEs. :shakehead
