Boucher said that he feels bad that Staal is concussed (Tom Gulitti) and that Staal “just kind of stepped up at me on the blue line and I just kind of braced myself. It was just a hockey play. Maybe this will make slats and jimmy boy think twice before opening up the checkbook, and even if they do they can use his injury history as leverage to keeping the term and cap hit down.
