Regarding my day to day injury. Been dealing with it for 2 weeks, now was a good time to try and get back to 100%

Henrik Lundqvist ‏@HLundqvist30 51s
Last few days it's been getting better with treatment and exercise.

OK, who do I complain to about someone having the audacity to post on-topic, when the subject of choice had clearly morphed to Brian Boyle's trade value! :sarcasm: :D

I recall during a preseason game (calgary?), Lundy appeared to be stretching his back after a save--I think Sam might have even made a brief comment about it the moment it happened.

Definitely one of those early season groin things if you ask me.

And that tweet is one of those excuse/watch out when I'm ready things if you ask me.

Knew something wasnt right.

Who would've thought that would be our lineup going into the first Flyers game this season? lol

That lineup gave me a Vietnam flashback to 2004.

That bottom six is just unbelievable. The whole situation gets so much easier to live with once Nash, Callahan, and Hagelin are in. I really hope this thing with Hank blows over soon. Until then, though.... ugh.

Lundqvist does specify he got injured in the second game, a 3-1 win at LA. Won't say whether he got hurt on a shot or through movement.

Does anyone else recall Hank extending to make a save and staying down on his knees for a bit during the Kings game? Am I thinking of another game? Must be groin related.

THIS IS PURE SPECULATION ON MY PART

What's the deal with Nash? Any updates? Does it seem like a season type of thing? We need him for team Canada and my fantasy team. :(

Just read season initially and my heart sunk lol. Don't think there'll be any updates until next week, seems weekly at this point. At this point it looks like he's not even been working out, but we still have realistically 3 months until the Olympics, so he has time. I'm sure if he gets games before new years, Stevie Y will still name him to the team, can't go without him. Checking this thread everyday lool.

Gaustad was on pace for 25 points the year he was traded.

Brian Boyle has 2 points in 7 games, over 82 games that's 25 points which is about his average.

Gaustad is an animal in the face-off dot. 56.8%

Brian Boyle is 53.8% right now.

Both hit, PK and provide great size down the middle.

Gaustad is a little more skilled I would say but I wouldn't say they are that different.

Paul Gaustad for a 1st (actual trade was Gaustad & a 4th for a 1st) was a historical overpayment. Using this as a baseline for any player's worth is a fool's errand.

Regardless, while there is historical compatibles for trades, the trade market is 100% independent from past trade deadlines each year based on the market. Either way, a 2nd for Boyle is the most realistic scenario, anything more is unrealistic/greedy.
