The GTHL tries not to publicize much of what they do, for various reasons. Crazy parents are one reason.

I do not know where to get league stats. They are probably available to scouts who pay, but I do not have access to that. Certain tournaments have stats available though through gamesheet. Here are some links:
Whitby Silver Stick
London Wendy Dufton
Waterloo Gold Puck

Yeah - I was talking to someone the other day about him.

I haven’t seen too much of him - not enough to form a confident opinion/projection - but I was told he has pro aspects to his game and that he’s the type of kid that will be a captian in junior one day.

From what I’ve seen, he gives his all for his team and can play whatever role you‘d want. He can score, he can kill penalties, he will be the first forward on the back check. it’ll be interesting to see where he goes. I’ll need to get another viewing or two before I’m able to get an accurate assessment on upside and a better understanding of his game.
I've seen Waterloo play several times in tournaments while evaluating Martin and Gerber is a very good prospect (currently have in my 4th round mock). He has an accurate heavy shot with a great release, strong on his skates and good vision, works hard and physical when he needs to be. Skating is likely the biggest concern as it is not elite but a very intelligent player who still gets the job done. Two other Waterloo players outside Martin and Gerber who also impressed in my viewings are F Sam Black and D Hunter Solomon. Both physical, heavy players with alot of speed and skill. Hoping to catch more Alliance games before OHL Cup.

There has to be a way to somehow get these stats available. Like a public access group. It's maddening how much parents have control over the stat sheet.

If some people have access to the stats, maybe it could be crowdsourced into a database, similar to the OHL Draft Pick Database?

Anybody from Quinte or Kingston looking good? It is strange to see Quinte struggling
Strictly going off statlines there's a kid from Kingston, Mason Goodfellow, that looks like a future Cy Young winner - currently T-5 with 22 goals in 25 games, but he only has 4 assists, so I'm not sure what exactly is going on but he could be one to watch. He's also got 72 PIM so possibly some grit?

I reached out to the GTHL about getting access to the stats and how I would do so, and they responded with this:

“At the conclusion of the OHL season, we will provide the OHL with player stats. They then can disperse them as they see fit”

Am I the only one with the opinion that Logan Hawery should have got some ES buzz?

Sucks he got injured for the first half of the season, and missed the deadline.

I don’t think he would get it but he is Damn good.

Another player who has stood out that I have never seen mentioned is Peter Fagan from Don Mills Flyers in the GTHL.
I’ve watched a lot of him this year. The tools are there. Decent skater. Big kid. Likes to get involved in offensive zone. Problem is he takes so many penalties. My last two viewings of the Flyers he’s taken 3 penalties in each game. A few of them double minors.

He also missed the GTHL all star game due to a suspension. Could be out for the year due to multiple suspensions.

Ah I was wondering why he was out of the lineup! Where do you get info on suspensions?
Just from hanging around the rinks and talking to people. Supposedly the kid was in warmups at the all star game and then was reminded he couldn’t play. There is a video going around of the suspension. Pretty vicious stick to the neck of a player.

Nice, what kind of details did u notice? Is he more of an offensive defenseman etc. Also I've heard recently that Trethewey, Asher Barnett and Sascha Boumedienne are the the top 3 defenseman in the USA for 2007 at least as of now. I realize Boumedienne is Swedish but he's playing in Ohio now. What are your opinions on these guys and do u see some other defenseman who are better? Thanks I appreciate your insight. Another question I have is about Cullen Potter is he OHL draft eligible.

I’ve thought Barnett was the best of the 2007 class up until now. Don’t know if that’s the case anymore. Tretheway I’d call a two-way defender. He is the #1 on the LC PP and he is very good at running the PP, he makes small, deceptive fakes at the blue line while on the PP to have the defenders commit to him. Then will make a quick sauce over to one of the forwards on the half wall where they attack the remaining 3 defenders before the fourth can readjust and reposition.
He does a great job at mainting his gaps I noticed, he got beat wide a couple times trying to be physical and fluffing the hit but at least he’s not afraid to be physical and maybe can be more consistent with more reps. He has a good long stick to that he uses really well to slow down forwards in transition. Skates well too. A lot to like about this kids game.

Cullen Potter is a very, very good American forward. top-5 right now i‘d say.
Fantastic skater with great speed, He is an excellent playmaker and always has his motor going. Strong transition ability and puck skills. Not the biggest kid but I think he is similar to guys like Oliver Moore and Gavin Brindley in that height won’t cause them to fail at the next level.

He was born in Wisconsin, and I believe Wisconsin falls under OHL entrapment. But he now lives in Texas and if I’m not mistaken, WHL has Texas. I’m not positive which one he’d be eligible for so that’s why I didn‘t rank him on the OHL list - and odds are we won‘t find out until the CHL draft he is selected in. Stefan Noeson was born in Texas but moved to Michigan before the age of 16 and was then selected in the OHL draft, not the WHL one so that’s why I’m hesitant to give any divinities here.

Will McFadden (PBO) looked really good tonight in Whitby. Thought he shied away from contact too much at Silver Stick but was the complete opposite tonight. A bit undersized but was the one initiating the contact all night. Ended with 1G/1A and a couple huge hits. Looked like a 1st rounder tonight

For what it's worth...he visited Michigan this past weekend with some other prospective recruits.
