Feeling rather conflicted. Bad for the tank, but making Toronto feel embarrassed has its charm.

The Orca Tank is about as reliable as a prototype Tiger II right now. Oh well.

Watching the press conferences today, I would give up our 1st round pick to get rid of Benning at this point.

There's absolutely no point acquiring top picks to buy this guy any more time—we won't win jack **** with him at the helm that we need to lose in the most embarrassing fashion ASAP.

San Jose, LA, and Anaheim all managed single points vs superior opponents tonight, making it a mildly good tank evening. Tomorrow night's North Division games are, obviously, much more important. The Leafs better take care of business.

Good GM can offset not having high picks.

20 years worth of high picks won't save a team ran by a gibbering lunatic.

7 top 10 picks if you include Horvat, 9 first-round picks in total and boatloads of cap space. Laughable to suggest you couldn't build a contender with these assets. Literally just need to hit 50% on the top 10 picks and then fill in the holes.

Yep. I'd easily trade our 1st this year just to ensure we have highly competent people running the team again - without interference from anybody whatsoever.

Good management can overcome a lack of high picks. Dumb management fails no matter how many high picks you give them.

These back-to-backs are almost a 'killer' when it comes to making any kind of progress in this division....Let's face it, the Leafs are embarrassed by that defeat to the lowly Canucks the other night. They're going to come out motivated and hungry tonight.

Demko is going to have to be even better than he was in the last game, and not sure that's possible. Canucks took only two minors in the last game....I look for at least six or seven tonight as the Leafs forwards turn-style that pedestrian Canuck blueline.

TO's pp is clicking along at close to 40 percent on the road....if they get six chances tonight, it's 'game over'.

If the Canucks win tonight it will be followed by the greatest amount of "Kiss the GMs Feet!" posts humanity will have ever witnessed by a team who is still in the bottom 5 of the league.

Tonight is the Benning Bros Stanley Cup.
