Islanders fan coming in peace, as I was curious if Rangers fans were thinking this - as an Islanders fan, of course I want the game canceled as the Bridgeport Islanders will get manhandled tonight, but my bigger issue is why do OTHER teams want the Islanders to play on right now? My risk analysis would say that 2 easy points isn't enough motivation to risk having Covid blow through your team like it's blowing through the Islanders, but maybe I'm over-cautious.

Anyway, hope for the best. As much as I hate your team and you hate mine, I don't really want the Islanders spreading Covid around to the Rangers or anyone else because the NHL wants to preserve the Olympics break.

I don't think other teams and their fans are thinking like that. The stringent protocols exist for a reason, you have to trust them. Haven't heard about CGY or TOR having any issues.

Cannot lose this game. This is literally half an AHL team on the other side. Lock up their top line and do work on the AHL defense they have at the moment.

All I ask for is for Trotz to play Sorokin tonight. Last season when they matched up, Sorokin got the win. Time for the better goalie to show his stuff tonight.

Rangers have to approach this like any game though.

Isles still have that 4th line intact and they always help set a tone for their team and building. Isles fans will be expecting a loss so you cant give them any added momentum.
