Like come on man, I'm just as frustrated as you with the current team, but to say ASP is our only good prospect is laughable.

I'm getting old. I think I'm already forgetting how HF used to rate prospects. Wasn't it a 10 point scale for type of player ceiling and then an A to D letter scale for how likely they'll reach it?

Like wasn't Dick Axelsson an 8.0 (2nd line scorer) D (Not likely to reach ceiling at NHL level) and Darren Helm was a 6.5 (Bottom 6) B (Safe bet)?

With that said, would ASP be an 8.0 C?

Correct, that's how the rating system went. I think HF would've had him as an 8.0C, but I think after this season he's gonna be like an 8.5C.

Danielson for example, is like a 7.5B to me even during this past summer.

If you want to listen to the dude who said Seider and Edvinsson were terrible picks, you go right ahead.

We should have a pinned note that says not everyone in this forum is on here to be serious or genuine and certain gray areas are milked to death.
 
I like to picture ASP taking some of those wrist shots/one timers that Perron lives off of on the power player. He has a quicker release. Could seriously be very dangerous.

All of them are mediocre at best and have done nothing to prove otherwise as of yet.

I doubt Danielson was available at 17, overall it was very good first round for Detroit
 
personally, I would of tried to trade up a spot or two for leonard.

I think i said it in the draft thread(s) but I really wanted to find a way to package all 3 2nds plus a prospect (b or c) for vancouvers 11+myers. Would have quasi-solved our RD issue a little and get another high-end prospect. Three top 20 picks in a loaded draft? Just need one to hit and you win and it looks like as of now we have two of two hitting to at least play a few 100 games in the league.

Or i just really wanted to here ken daniels and company to say willander passes to wallinder, back to willander, down low to larkin, back to willander wait no thats wallinder but he passes over to willander for the one-timer and scoooorrreeesss!! lol
