I mean, truly talented players are able to drive the offense and make other players better around them.

You're right. However, for example, how many points do you think McLeod would get on Crosby or McDavid's wing? Chytil has no hope when they are effectively a man short every time they hit the ice.

Very cool! B-radon is scratched. I turned my heater up too high and had a literal nightmare all night about that loss. Good to see Quinn make the decisive deserved scratching for a sleepwalked giveaway last night.

McLeod would have at least a couple “Crosby/McDavid bounces the puck off hit butt and goes in” goals

ADA getting under their skin here early......probably caused that boarding to happen, because of what he did earlier.2x in fact.

They've started well again.

They've had more good starts to game this season than they did during AV's entire tenure.

Though we have given away so many games in the 3rd period by turtle too. Quinn has to find a way of not allowing that to happen. Otherwise, we're just not good enough to get pounded every 3rd p.

Is it just me or was last night's game and this one so far tonight playing out like a lot of fast, back-and-forth hockey?

It really shows/exposes the decision-making of the defense, and it can be baptism by fire. But it's ultimately a good thing, in my opinion. Gets them thinking faster and makes them be more decisive.

All this talk about Chytil not being strong enough is really ****ing stupid.
Like @KirkAlbuquerque mentioned players like Pettersson are super thin and lanky and are just fine. If they actually put him in a situation to succeed he would be ok

Petterson has made the most of his time in the top 9, chytil hasn't. Let's not pretend he has spent the entire year with MacLeod on the 4th line, he was in the top 6, top 9 and now he worked his way to the 4th line, he has to work his way back up. It's what you do with the frame you have that makes the player, if you wanna play on the outside the points won't happen. He will be a very good player someday but he just seems a little timid right now, he needs time to get comfortable in the NHL.

If I was Quinn, I'd find a way to get Chytil some power play time.

Vesey is easily replaced on the 2nd unit.
