We generalize a lot of situations re. Chytil’s usage. Last night could be used as an example where I could see a reason for limited use. A road game so Quinn has to worry about line matching. Quite a. Lot of special teams time. 4th line was the one that seems to be losing its shifts from about 1/4 into the second period. That Smith’s goal probably spoiled Quinn’s plan for the third period by giving a hope to Wings and deflating the good guys a little. Again this calls for the the Rangers top 2 lines to get back on track. Overall, in the context of the last game I really didn’t have a problem with the kids use. IMHO

Chytil will never score a goal unless he goes one on 5 like pionk did the other night. I mean isn't Beleskey a better option than Mcleod?

Smith sitting is a surprise for me, not because he hasn't earned it but because I figured they wouldnt do it for appearance sake in the Hope's of trading him. It will be nice to see Claussen get back in, hes been decent.

We are almost to the perfect roster for who we actually have. Sure Chytil should be switched with Spooner but the personnel is correct. I dont even mind MacLeod playing since we dont have much for options in the minors, when zuc gets back he should sit tho.

Last night's loss clearly set off a 2005 emo vibe for me. I'm spending the pregame downloading Breaking Benjamin.

Claesson for Smith is the correct move and Quinn deserves credit for it. I wonder if Chytil struggles to excel even in practice.

My personal opinion and I saw it a couple times last night is that Chytil isnt strong enough, he get muscled off the puck and I think he's still a bit scared out there to be honest. That's why his minutes are limited in the final minutes, Quinn doesn't want to say it because he is trying not to kill his confidence but hes just a kid, they are trying to ease him in. A guy with his talent,no matter what line he is playing on has to create some chances but he is just not ready yet. They will give him more time when he is.
