I follow the Rangers on other boards and Facebook groups and this is far and away the most fixated on things like draft position and constructing hypothetical trades. There’s a lot of fans out there right now very happy because the team is doing well. My personal mailing list is very excited.

Always remember, we are the outliers. It’s not a bad thing but posting is different here.
Sounds like we are the most fun group

DeAngelo, Buchnevich (who looks like he got hurt), Hayes, Pionk flashed both good and bad.

But collectively, they looked horrible. Good starts in both games, but they got their teeth kicked in after 1 in both (a little bit later tonight, but still.)

These aren't learning experiences, this is just relying on either your goalie to steal one or the other goalie to out suck yours. Had they come out and dominated the 3rd tonight en route to a win that would have been fine, but instead they did jack **** for the first 19:45 of the period.

The only positive to winning these skills competitions is that if they're tied with a bunch of teams in points later in the year, they'll be below them because of the ROW.

You must give Columbus credit for dominating the period. We are a team that significantly lacks high-end talent and were playing against an NHL team.

There will not be an "easy" game this season.

I think the disconnect between fans and management is that management doesn't think they need Hughes to rebuild. They're not wrong either. Build a winning culture, continue to bring in pieces as you have at the rate you have, and down the line you have such an excess of prospects that you can make the trade for the major piece you missed.

Every game is a learning experience. Win or lose. And they're doing it as a group.
