Imo MBN has Timo Meier upside
7 points in 17 games ? I am not worried about him, still has NHL potential, just what kind of potential?
lol. I hadn't followed Eiserman's year at all. Boy was I shocked to see his stat line after reading he is doing "amazing". Looks like he's doing right around the worst of any of the comparable 1st round guys that went into the NCAA that I quickly thought of from the 2-3 drafts. No matter how you cut it, he's had a disappointing season, especially when you consider how amazing Eiserman is doing and we happily passed on him.
At this rate, MBN will have lower numbers in his D+1 than his D year.

SHL farm league.lol. I hadn't followed Eiserman's year at all. Boy was I shocked to see his stat line after reading he is doing "amazing". Looks like he's doing right around the worst of any of the comparable 1st round guys that went into the NCAA that I quickly thought of from the 2-3 drafts.
And what numbers are you even comparing for MBN year over year? He changed leagues
He’s already making improvements to his skating too, so I think SHL is the perfect place for him.I'm not even a draft guru type guy but I watched some of him in the summer after getting drafted plus the whole forum loving him and it was obvious with him walking into the SHL that skating/speed against better competition would be something he'd have to adjust to and answer. I think he's done pretty well. His camp was smart to get a deal done before being drafted, he's likely paid more in the SHL this year vs coming over and he's still able to work on his overall skating.
I don't think anyone should look at MBN and be disappointed. Just my opinion. Filip Zadina might have benefitted from a route like this vs what he went through.
It’d be surprising. 6 points the last 9 and that’s with a garbage Skellefteå offense and not being utilized properly on the PP. He had a slow start but has been consistently good-to-great for a while now.At this rate, MBN will have lower numbers in his D+1 than his D year.
He also got 1 year older. Already 19 and physically he doesn't need to get stronger, so what is the reason. How can he improve, Skating? He played in a different league last year.
There is no "reason", he's doing well. We've had these arguments since Raymond's d+1. People just don't understand SHL scoring. Unless you are a freak of nature like Elias Pettersson or Axel Sandin Pellikka it's really, really hard to put up big point totals as a U20 player. He also got 1 year older. Already 19 and physically he doesn't need to get stronger, so what is the reason. How can he improve, Skating?
SHL farm league.
How so? It may be college but its still a "men's" league as opposed to juniors.Well if that's the case, Eiserman's numbers also went down this year.
Hage is the one I wanted. He still leads U of M in points despite missing the last couple of games.
