I think he gets waived, clears and heads to Laval to try and find his game....again.Does this mean Primeau has been shipped somewhere else ?
They didn’t announce a corresponding move. Will they simply waive Primeau or is he eligible for a conditioning stint given how he hasn’t played in so long?
He wouldn't be claimed with the season he's having. Probably going to Laval.Good. Bye Primeau, good luck elsewhere.
With Dobes being recalled the Habs are at the 23 man limit, in other words, they can carry 3 goalies for now. They didn’t announce a corresponding move. Will they simply waive Primeau or is he eligible for a conditioning stint given how he hasn’t played in so long?
Dach will get way more patience since he was Hughes first signature move, they will be patient.Barron out and Primeau at the door. The Habs are trimming the young ones that are not progressing. If I was Dach, I would be a tad nervous. Him succeeding is more important to the Habs, so he gets more time. However, HuGo are showing that their patience has some limits.
Should have happened a month ago or moreGood. Bye Primeau, good luck elsewhere.
Oh goodie. I missed the three goalie system from last year. With Dobes being recalled the Habs are at the 23 man limit, in other words, they can carry 3 goalies for now.
They don't have to move anyone yet, they were at 22 players on 23 before the recall. They didn’t announce a corresponding move. Will they simply waive Primeau or is he eligible for a conditioning stint given how he hasn’t played in so long?
I think Hughes learned a lesson and won't do that this time.Oh goodie. I missed the three goalie system from last year.
If Primeau never play a game again, it's just having three goalies on the roster, not really a three goalie system.I think Hughes learned a lesson and won't do that this time.
Agreed, it's obvious MSL has turned the page on Primeau. If Primeau never play a game again, it's just having three goalies on the roster, not really a three goalie system.
There may be a player they want to graduate from Laval, to take Primeau’s spot. They’re not going to want a 3 goalie set up again this season. At 23 players, no need for another move.
Primeau is doneThey might have something in the hopper and Dobes gets a taste this weekend, before going back when Primeau is swapped for a veteran 3rd stringer.

Roster freeze is in place until tomorrow anyways, they can't announce any demotions or trades. At 23 players, no need for another move.
Not right now, no. Speculating when roster freeze ends. No, but they don't have to do anything -right now- to be roster compliant.
Obvious they are looking to move Primeau to a team who wants to take on a youth reclamation project and might have a spare veteran 3rd stringer.
Will Dobes have to make his NHL debut against Tampa or Florida? A lot of teams have a veteran with NHL experience in the AHL they can recall. Really thought they would add another goaltender last summer (beyond adding Hughes), they have been lucky the last two years with injuries in net.
I think Pez hasn't been forgotten about, the 3rd and 4th lines have stayed healthy and have been very good.I love how everyone has forgotten about poor Pezz...Primeau isn't the only guy who isn't playing that can be moved to make roster space if needed.
Dobes is 23 alreadyI might have to recalled Hughes based on the fact Dobes was just recently hurt and id like to see Jakub get tons of starts....at the same time excited to see him start and cool that he is being rewarded for great play in the last calendar year or so.
Based on how long Hughes waited to break the 3-goalie gridlock last season, Hughes is willing to do anything not to lose assets for nothing. That includes rostering a Pezz that his coach won’t play.I love how everyone has forgotten about poor Pezz...Primeau isn't the only guy who isn't playing that can be moved to make roster space if needed.
