Of course not , but it concerning, he should dominate those games
In October the Wings played the Oilers. Per ESPN, Detroit won 60.3 percent of the faceoffs, out hit them 23-11, and McDavid didn't have a single goal.

Do I declare concern for Connor?

It's not like he is Doing great in SHL . He is already physically dominant and it's good, we need power forward . It's is very small sample , but younger center kasper had better season. ASP not much older than MBN also has much better season.
MBN is work in progress , it's too early to say. He was my second choice at the draft after Hage and I expected to see more from MBN this season.
Also Yzerman wanted him in GR and he said no so I don't know what else to say
.

Yeah, not having a single point in U20 Division 1A is a terrible start but that doesn't matter at all in the long run. Many times we've seen this with young players going back down several levels and do bad in those games and in the end it doesn't affect their future in the NHL. Also, unless someone has watched the games, it's hard to say if it's bad luck, bad teammates, bad coaching, etc...

Without setting the world on fire, I think he's doing fine in the SHL, but yes as one of the most "NHL ready" prospect, it's fair to have expected more from him, but people said the same thing about Raymond's time in the SHL, so we'll see. I don't have any concern for him.

I'd say the schedule is really tough. MBN played in the SHL last Saturday, then this tournament in Slovenia (5 games in 7 days) started Monday. It's ridiculous.

Skellefteå didn't allow MBN to join Norway U20's training camp in Hungary last week.

But I guess he said yes to the tournament because he gets to stay with the boys and have some fun. I watched the game yesterday, MBN was flying and had 7 shots on goal. Shot stats 34-17 in favor of Norway, which means Austria's goalie was very good, he also received their best player award.

MBN already has 10 shots in 2 games in this tournament so far including 7 in todays game.
The one recurring theme is that he's a bit snakebit when it comes to his shooting so far this year. I think the discussion would be more positive if he had a few more goals, which he probably should have considering how many chances he creates.

I mean, he had 5 pts in 5 games in the actual WJC last year. I'm not sure there's any reason to be worried considering he's producing in the SHL too.
7 points in 17 games ? I am not worried about him, still has NHL potential, just what kind of potential?

He was never drafted to become a high scorer. His absolute upside potential is like a Tom Wilson with a better shot but not quite as physical. Wilson scored 52 pts in his best ever season, I think if MBN is a 45-55pt scorer with an imposing physical presence, that is his best case scenario and a very useful player for us.
