Gritsyuk follow near the same late development path in KHL as Rango did and has this season a similar stats - 16g+12 in 39 games when Shara get the same 16+12 in 34 games prior to join devils camp

They have an almost 2 year age gap when they’re performing at these levels, so Grits is a fair amount more impressive from that perspective.

The overall mood among russian funs and hockey expert wtf hockey it was in semifinal and that Gritsyuk is only one bright spot in this team even beside his winner shootout goal. The version of Kaprizov impact.
A lot of Russian fans are inadequately critical. A lot of them don`t like 2018 gold medal because some of our hockey managers and officials says some stupid things. I think no one would worry\care about "Miracle on Ice 2.0" bravada words from different people if Usa win this Olympic games, it didn't spoil the feeling of victory for anyone. But in our country, people live a different life, live in their own information space, have their own inflated expectations and a completely different, in their own way, an adequate level of criticality.

Russia did play very well against Sweden, It was a decent game for both teams.

He will not.

Like I said before, his real future opportunity to play is another 1-2 year deal in KHL after next season. It`s better for his development when he can play top-6 min in KHL.

And in today game one of russian commentators said that Arseniy wants to follow the path of Kaprisov, he wants mature and develope his game before going to play in the NHL.
May be something will change. but I think this is a perfect and the realest way.
i mean that's fine, but i mean if he opts out and doesn't sign with us i'll be really upset

From what I read here, that's not possible. We own his rights and it's not like the NCAA where players can become FA.

I haven’t even watched that much of him tbh but the way he moves in terms of his skating and stick handling looks kind of weird to me. Just seems awkward almost.

Are we going to be able to get this guy to North America?

I posted in the team thread but the NHL just cut off communications with the KHL and appears to say you can’t sign players with existing KHL contracts nor talk with the KHL team about releasing the player early.

So earliest would be 23/24 under the rules just put in place, it appears.
