Eichel was very impressive in this game.

Eh, he had a very Kessel game. Elite release that came out of nowhere on a couple occasions, but otherwise wasn't really noticeable. Thing is, when you can shoot it like that you don't have to have much of a presence in a game to get a couple of goals.

Eichel had a couple nice looks. Nilsson should have had his back hand goal, but Eichel hit the crossbar on another rush. Looked good for a 19YO, carried the puck well but wasn't really dominant in this game to my eye.

Draisaitl had another quality night, think he lost an assist so 1A.

Someone'll need to talk about Nilsson pretty soon. He's been quality. now 8-7-1 on a near last place team, must be hovering on .923-.925 right now

really watching Eichel in an nhl game, his shot is something else. Could have had a couple.

That's not even meant to be a shot at you. Your team has been bad for a long, long time. You're not really rebuilding better than anyone at this point.

We could expect that a thread proclaiming that not be made 15 games in, when both teams are pretty much in the same spot.

Ah the classic "we lost to the Oilers because we played poorly excuse." That has happened 11 times this year. More often against Eastern teams that play us so soft along the boards.

Kessel is a great example. Great shot but invisible on the backcheck.

There was a point where he nearly lost a foot race to Letestu.

Nilson was very good. Looks like the talbot trade was a waste with Nilson there all along. Also, why is Griffen Reinhart scratched (considering the price paid to get him) every game would've ben cool to face his brother.

That was kind of the point of the thread. This is Buffalo's 2nd season playing with their top picks and they are as ****** as Edmonton is who is in year 5 of theirs. Edmonton is clearly the better team as far as talent and chemistry is concerned at this point but they had a 4 year head start.
