Voracek hasn't lived up to what he was suppose to be. Simmonds is a good complimentary player, but still not the piece the Leafs need to replace Kessel and Brayden Schenn could be that guy the Leafs need to build around, but you never know.
I don't get why all of these Kessel trade offers come up on the board. If you trade Kessel, you open up a huge hole in the offense. A lot of the shots and scoring chances ran through him last year and if you are going to rely on Lupul or MacArthur, then you are in trouble.
Were there that high of expectations of him at draft? I thought he has been an extremely solid player so far in his short career.
