Sorry, on my phone should have been more clear. Tony interviewed Lu in Florida then came on The FAN. He said from the way Lu talked about the situation it seems to him that Lu knows something is going to happen with the Leafs.
Ah, thanks for the info. I really hope all these rumours are true.
Name these 10 teams, please.

Us(maybe), Edmonton(maybe), Tampa?(battle with Lindback), that's all I got. 3, maybe.

Exactly what I'm saying, maybe Columbus but they won't be interested though.

Bernier vs Reimer
Bernier vs Lindback
Bernier vs Dubnyk

Starter:

Leafs
Panthers
Jackets
Oilers
Blackhawks
Sharks
Caps
Isles
Avs
Tampa

Maybe's:

Boston
Wings
Jets
Ducks

What's the difference between Bernier and Markstrom?

Varlamov is fine in Colorado

Nabokov played well for the Isles.

Caps have Holtby and Neuvirth. Their goaltending isn't the problem.

He's not starting over Rask, Howard, Pavelec, or Hiller.

For your maybe's, no way for Boston, Wings and Ducks. Maybe Jets, but I doubt it .

For the 10 I only agree on Lightning, Blue Jackets, Islanders (though Nabby has looked alright), and maybe Hawks if Crawford can't bounce back. Blue Jackets and Lightning have young goalies that could win the job too. In Edmonton and Toronto I think he and Bernier would split the games with Dubnyk and Reimer. At this point Theodore, Niemi, Holtby, Varlamov > Bernier.

He's really not a clear starter on any team in the NHL at this point.

No, bud.
He'd be a maybe on most of the teams you stated as starters, and he have no chance on your maybe list IMHO.

Rask, Howard, Pavelec and Hiller are much better goalies than him at this moment in their career(s)

That's a joke, bolded are teams he wouldn't be a starter on. Actually, he wouldn't be a starter on any of those teams, or any team in the NHL now that I think about it. You don't realize how unproven he is.

Leafs - Luongo(maybe) is better, Reimer is better and has the same ceiling
Panthers - Look at Theodore's stats from last season, outstanding and they have the #1 G prospect in the league, who's ready to start
Jackets - Mason is better, Bobrovsky has the potential to be better
Oilers - Dubnyk had a good season and has nearly the same potential
Black Hawks - Crawford is better
Sharks - Niemi is better
Caps - Holtby and Neuvrith are both better
Isles - They have Nabby, are you kidding me?
Avs - Varlamov... (just ***** the KHL too)
Tampa - Lindback > Bernier

Boston - Rask and Thomas, what is wrong with you?
Wings - Howard.
Jets - Pavalec.
Ducks - Hiller and Fasth.

Bernier would be a backup on every team you mentioned, third string on others.

Bozak + Franson + 3rd for Luongo
Kadri + Colborne + Blacker + 2nd for Getzlaf (cheap price but don't forget he's a soon to be UFA)

-------

Lupul - Getzlaf - Kessel
JVR - Grabovski - Kulemin
Frattin - McClement - Komarov
Devane - Steckel - Brown
-Connolly

Gardiner - Phaneuf
Gunnarsson - Holzer
Liles - Komisarek
-Ranger

Luongo
Reimer

I think that Getz deal would only happen at the trade deadline if Ducks feel they're not going to be able to get him signed. They'll go into the season with him and do everything they can to get him signed because without him they are a ****ing disaster at the center position.

Come on dude, Crawford sucks!

I'd rather trade for Bobby Ryan to be honest, because that why we can try the trifecta by signing Getz and Perry in the off-season ;)

Kulemin, Kadri + 1st for the disgruntled power forward :p

Can you imagine a second line of JVR-Grabs-Ryan? That sizeeeeee on the wing would make me cry lol. Although I think Ryan is Left Wing though so there goes my hope of that line :p

He's more proven then Bernier.

Ya, proven to be subpar. I'm not going to be the great defender of Bernier, but he's playing behind the best goalie in the world at the moment. Reimer had a hard time beating Jonas Gus for net duty.

Come on dude, Crawford sucks!

Yeah he was brutal last season. I wonder if he'll bounce back. I remember watching the Nucks Blackhawks series a couple years ago and I was shocked at how well he played. He had a good regular season that year as well.

It doesn't matter who he's playing behind. He's always playing in front of the team that just won the Cup. You can argue both ways. You can't just shove a player into a hot bed like Chicago and think he can handle being the starter there. It's not that easy.

Maybe Ryan is the problem?

Since they won the Cup they've been going downhill, coinciding with elevation of Ryan.

I still can't believe the Hawks won 45 games with their goaltending.

No way I would give up Kulemin OR our 1st in this deep draft for Ryan. And our need is a big tough skilled #1C. Getzlaf is the perfect candidate.

Such a weak argument.

Crawford had a bad year, look at the season before. No, Quick is not the best goalie in the world. Reimer had a hard time because he was returning from a concussion, and the team collapsed when he returned, making it difficult to win. But hey, they were at least playing solid D right?

Raycroft won 37 in Toronto didn't he?

He also played 70+ games lol!

As for the Ryan being the sore spot on the team, I doubt it. I think they started going down hill when they lost Pronger.
