Speculation: 12/13' Trades/Proposals: Short season is better than none, now for trades.

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Id want to keep one of Kadri or Bozak if the deal were to go down.


Then it makes it easier for us to slide Getz into the 1 spot with Kadri or Bozak (signed cheap) taking 3rd line duties the next year.

And as of now, I dont think it's crazy to think We could get Getz+perry. One through UFA, the other through trade.

Kadri is as good as gone if we trade for a C, he has decent value.

Would you do 1st+Kessel+Decent prospect for Getz+Perry?(assuming they resign with us?)

I'd even do 1st + Kessel + Rielly for Getz + Perry with out even thinking twice.

I wouldn't do this, but I really can't stand both of these guys so my judgment is partial. I just really don't want Getzlaf on this team. I think he's pretty overrated and is a whiny and sneaky (in a bad way) player. Same with Perry.

A #1 centre is a #1 centre ... But a 1st rounder could be anything! It could even be a #1 centre.. You know how much we've be meaning to get one of those!

Never heard of her.

Although I just came into this thread to say maybe Frattin was scratched tonight because hes involved in a deal for Lu (Kadri was not scratched).

Also, I dont believe a trade can happen until after the players sign the deal on Saturday.

I doubt it's true but you never know.

Thought Frattin might be scratched to keep him healthy for camp, but you'd think Kadri would be too.

Any chance Frattin is hurt?

Not really.

During his 8th year, his cap hit would be $3.7M more than the salary paid.

So the cap hit for the last two years would be $1.3M per year.

:laugh: question.

If he plays a 9th year, his cap hit would be $4.3M more than his actual pay. Does that mean that the Leafs would then get an extra $1.7M for their cap in 2021-2022?
